    I'm 63 and never knew that I should be using light colored pans for cakes. It makes perfect sense. I don't like the over-done brown sides on cakes. Also never knew about the 3" depth. Again, makes perfect sense. I've ordered new pans! Thank you!

      I would only bake 3 at a time. Be sure to rotate them half way through the baking time. Because you’re baking in smaller pans, it may require less time!

    Hello, I have question about heating rod . it’s necessary to put heating rod put into the cake baking or just for doll cake and which cake pan size good for
    doll cake ? I want to

    should I buy heating . Please let me know

    • @AsiaCoffee
      @AsiaCoffee  8 місяців тому

      Yes, the heating rod is necessary whenever you’re baking a cake that’s especially thick. The rod helps to bake the cake thoroughly. The doll cake pan comes with a rod. You will usually get a rod when you buy a sphere/hemisphere cake pan as well. If you don’t have these pans, you can simply bake round cake layers, stack them and carve the shape with a knife. I hope this helps!

    Can you explain or show us how you bake on teady 🐻 pan, how you combine it while baking, how you place your butter since you bake at once.

    • @AsiaCoffee
      @AsiaCoffee  2 роки тому

      Great question! The teddy bear pan comes with multiple clips that hold the two sides together. Once the two sides are secured, the pan is placed upside down on a cookie sheet and the batter is pour into the open top (bottom of the bear). The pan also comes with a heating core which is put in place before the pan goes into the oven. If helps the bear to bake evenly. Hope this helps!

    Hi there I recently purchased a 6x3 Magic line pan and I typically bake @ 325 but I did this and baked for about 35 min and the toothpick came out clean. Then 15 min later it domed in the center I also put in a heating rod. Please help how long should I bake it for?

    • @AsiaCoffee
      @AsiaCoffee  2 роки тому

      Hey there! So…. Just so I’m understanding correctly: you continued to bake after the toothpick came out clean? That size pan is a bit on the smaller side, so I don’t believe using the heating rod was necessary.

    Do you know if baking a 2 layered cake using one 8" tapered cake pan and one 8" straight edge cake pan will work? Will I be able to stack the two layers?

    • @AsiaCoffee
      @AsiaCoffee  2 роки тому +1

      Yes you can stack them, but you may want to consider evening the sides if the taper on the one layer looks excessive. Best of luck!

    So I bought the wonder mold and have questions......
    Would this wonder pan work with box cake mix?
    How many boxes are supposed to be used for it?
    Or how full should you fill it?
    TIA and sorry for too many questions ☺️

    • @AsiaCoffee
      @AsiaCoffee  2 роки тому +1

      What a coincidence?! I just baked in this one last week. Yes, you can use a regular box mix with this pan! It’s recommended that you use a pound cake mix, but I would just add one extra egg to the mix to make it slightly denser. Using one box mix isn’t enough…. You’ll need about a box and a half to fill the pan about an inch below the heating core. Also, don’t forget to place the heating core BEFORE pouring in your batter. This helps the cake bake more evenly. Best of luck!

    Can we cut out 2 layers of cake out of a 2 inch cake pan?
    Also if we want 3 layers, we need to bake another cake in the same pan right?

    • @AsiaCoffee
      @AsiaCoffee  3 роки тому +1

      To your first question: Yes, but the layers will be very thin.
      For 3 layers, I would recommend baking three times in the same pan. This way your layers have some thickness to them. This is why I really love my 3" high pans.💕 Thanks for watching!

      There can be many factors, but the most common in your case is that the rack and/or oven is uneven. This can cause your cake not to bake evenly. Check your rack and oven to make sure they are level and rotate your cake pan about halfway through baking next time. I hope this helps!
