recently one individual has been coming to this and the other shorts for this track to try and paint me as a coward or zionist because I don't want my channel subject to the algorithm of the toxic youtube political sphere. so Let me just say. FREE FALASTIN. Also I have blocked the individual because regardless that falastin should be free, Their personality and their methods were abusive and shitty, on a channel by an autistic dude recovering from mental health issues and homelessness.
His songs are great, but there's something fishy about the fact that he keeps spamming them. Is it a group of writers, AI, or just years worth of songs from his notebooks - I don't know, but it's not normal.
@@danrudge5997 Maybe. I'm not a career musician, so this is why I can't really tell, but studio albums have 10-15 songs and are released every 1-2 yrs. The higher the frequency and quantity the lower percentage of really good songs. In my experience a good album has about 1/3 of good songs, and a great one - 2/3. This dude posted 50 songs in 4 months. If I'm not very picky 40 of them are good. Maybe he learned the "common" country chords and he comes up with a tune by improvising, like the expert pianists can do, but you still need to come up with the lyrics. AI crap made me paranoid and for a good reason (check AI country or metal, if you don't believe me). Plus, you don't need to use AI for everything, just sections of lyrics or a tune, but that's already too much if you ask me. To think people were making waves about ghost writing T-T
@@ctrdnaskelo2541 If he was using AI it would undermine his entire message. I think he probably just works hard and has a lot of talent. Once you know a bit of music theory and especially if you've learned a lot of the old standards, it's not that difficult to come up with chord progressions that are different enough to not be copies, but are nonetheless employing some tried and true techniques for compelling song structures. He also has a great ear for how to make his playing catchy. That's not something AI could do, he's clearly playing it and his intonation and character are a huge part of what makes the songs work. In a lot of ways, I feel like Welles is the quintessential example of what AI will never be able to do. It's all so human. His voice is uniquely his, for example. I'm sure you could train an AI to sound like Jesse, but it wouldn't be able to record these videos out in nature (which also is something AI will never be able to do in terms of its dynamism and the way the ecology as a whole is intelligent and self-regulating). That's just my opinion, anyway, but it would certainly be a downer if you were right!
