Your mom getting better is definitely worth celebrating. I wouldn’t feel guilty or bad telling people. I think you would be surprised how happy someone would be for you. They don’t want you to experience what they did so I wouldn’t feel bad about it. Life is to be cherished and celebrated. Glad for your mom. 😊

I lost my mom from lung cancer, she didn’t smoke, when I was only 28 in ‘85. I’m always happy to hear someone is cancer free!! Being along for that journey is not something I would wish on my worst enemy 😐 cancer free are great words!!

My mom passed away after a 10 year battle having cancer move through her body 5 times. Celebrate the good!! Anyone I know who can celebrate a “win” against cancer, I am so happy for them! Because I know the highs and lows of cancer, I love to hear the good news and I love they are getting to celebrate healing and good health instead of loss. Be there if they need a hug but know your friends are happy for you. ❤ to you and prayers for continued good health to your mom.

Your mom nearly died, Sherri nearly died, my hubby nearly died twice. I call this time now bonus time. This time is a huge blessing. Not everyone gets this same blessing of bonus time. Try not to compare your bonus to other's unfortunate circumstance.

That’s very cool about your Momma! I had the same cancer & I just got clear results too. My CA125 was 7.8! I think you already have it, you have compassion already & we can see it in your lives. It’s ok to be happy about your Momma and have compassion for someone else who is struggling. ❤️ I worked for hospice for 8 years.

We are so blessed now that many cancers are being healed. Always a time to rejoice. You definitely have empathy for loved ones & friends who are still going through horrible times & not coping. You have been there & now have words to encourage them to hold on & have faith. There is no rhyme or reason as to who lives & who dies. As humans we are to love one another as Jesus loves us. Praying & ministering as our hearts & skills provide. So very happy for you to have this opportunity to share what you think & feel with your brothers & sisters on LeggLife. It is wonderful that your mom is doing so well! I think of you as a friend from afar. I lost my dear dad to cancer that began in his colon. I am so happy to hear about your mom! As a friend, I wouldn't want you to go through what we did. Also, you still have a deeper understanding of what I went through and I would still want to talk to you about things because you know more than others about what I am feeling. You are right: always be honest and true to people, yes care and respect their loss but also celebrate life . Be thankful and grateful for a lot more life .. love you guys

Greetings from ohio. No need to feel guilty about your mom doing great. I am the same age range as you. I lost my mom when I was 18 and I lost my dad just last year to cancer so i know the feeling of getting that bad news. I think it's awsome that your mom is doing well and you should be proud and not guilty. I know the feeling when I found out my dad had stage 4 cancer and the end was near. I think it's awesome that your mom made it and I wouldn't feel bad hearing you celebrate her.
Go to Italy next year, but not in the summer… you will melt! You will definitely melt in DC during August!
I am a horrible sleeper. I find if I fight sleep it’s harder to sleep. If I sleep when my body is ready I may wake up a bit but I fall back to sleep easier.

We spent one night at Mt McKinley Princess Lodge last September. It was beautiful! We did see Denali from the Lodge.

Love listening to your trip plans. Last night my BF and I were going over our travel for the rest of year. We combine some work trips with personal. Plus we have some personal trips planned. August, September, October, November and December each have a travel plan scheduled. Love it!!! Need to enjoy life!

I go to bed about 1:40 am and get up about 7:30 everyone is still sleeping its so peaceful hardly any noise around here sometimes around 8 or 9 you can hearthem them mowing the grass or upstairs sounds like we live under a race track

It is definitely a tricky awkward situation but if people know you and know your heart they will want to share in your good news. Personally,I feel the worst thing people can do is ignore the other person’s grief because they feel awkward or do know what to say,but for me just saying I am so sorry I am here for you helps me immensely.

Wow Adam!!! That hit hard! I'm struggling with the whole mom has cancer too and talking to others. My friend just lost her mom to cancer and we were going through it together. How do I navigate now??
Some times nights are just like that. Very frustrating.
What does Sherri do working for Princess? So great that mom is feeling so well. Regarding the ambivalence of your happiness about mom while other's are suffering - true friends will be happy for your joy, as you would for them. No need to gloat, but also no need to refrain from sharing those feelings. You both appear to be so sincere and honest - continue to be you.

I will see that happy marriage between my future husband and I, that you and Sherry share. if I go to bed early let’s say 11, I’m up two hours later for no reason and then it’s hard for me to go back to sleep without listening to something…idea for the contest go with them whoever wins

It’s called Woodlands and they are located at 712 Water Street, right across from cruise ship berth 3!
I guess more sour dough bread too!!! Do not go to Scotland as it’s too cold and Cornwall and Devon is so much nicer too. There has been many people who have died from cancer recently too and other things too. It’s the guilt of living too. Watched a new documentary with surgeons operating on high risk surgery. One was a man in his forties dealing testicular cancer and chemo not working. Cancer was found in his small bowel during surgery and unexpected. Unfortunately he did die

I think it’s helpful to always have at least one pair with you just in the event we get one of those beautiful warm months of May. You might not need them, but if it ends up being sunny and beautiful, you may be glad you have them. That being said, some of it depends on where you come from. If you don’t wear shorts when it is in the 70s and 80s where you live, you probably don’t need them at all.

How do you get reservations in the Princess lodges. I cannot find any availability when I try to book online.
I go to bed by 9 always so for Me it’d be 730/8 ❤.
I'm doing the night shift, so I usually get off at 11:30 pm. I finally sleep at about 1:30 am and wake up about 10am. Yep, the Lodge has new paint, furniture, and our coffee shop has been expanded. It's great.
No bed until 10 pm. Stay in a routine.
