Keenan's eyes narrowing when he first spots Beavis.......😂Keenan deserves a lot of praise by playing it straight throughout, helping make the skit the classic it has become.
Heidi stated after the fact that she had seen them with the full look, but Mikey can connect with Heidi so well and make her laugh so easily she just lost it.
The funny thing is, both Beavis and Butt-Head breaking and laughing is completely in character for both of them. With how much they constantly laugh on the show. 😆
@@billoneill7282 In fact Kenan Thompson was truly spectacular. His ability to carry on a dialogue of AI then switch to the Beavis and Butt-Head scenario was perfect.
Hands down this is he funniest skit they’ve done in a long long time! Best performers for this skit was on stage bravo to all four of them for the laugh. Heidi is very beautiful too
Practice. He did in fact break during the rehearsal for this, and then when the real show came on, was able to act normally, allowing Heidi’s breaks to be spotlighted naturally!
Not a big SNL fan, never have been. But I saw this clip on UA-cam. The funny part is how that girl genuinely laughs. I laughed so hard watching her trying to keep it together lol
@@InspireUpDaily Definitely. Back then MTV was all about Music with some Shows like Beavis and Butthead. The MTV Unplugged still is the greatest thing that ever happened to Music.
Lol I saw this in a bar last night, which brought me here. Once she turned around to look at Butthead, i broke 😂😂 i didn't expect to laugh at that part. Almost spit my beer out
I started watching SNL when it first started and was an avid fan. After the last exodus of talent (Wiig, McKinnon, etc.) the show went downhill. This sketch with Ryan Gossling and Mikey Day was classic comedy. Heidi Gardner's breaking character was the icing on the cake. The only reason that I watched it was because of Gossling being the host. He did not disappoint. His comedic timing and demeanor were spot on. I have watched this clip a handful of times, and it still evokes a laugh.
@belanteomero It sounds like you have a deep connection to SNL's history, and I'm glad this sketch brought back some of that classic comedy magic for you, especially with Ryan Gosling's hosting-his performance really shined!
The most I have laughed in an SNL skit. The breaking just made it even more funny. This will forever be one of the Top skits of theirs for years to come. Her hand coming up to try and block her view was desperate but too late to help. 😂
The credit here doesn't go to writing or acting so much as makeup. Nothing would make me happier if I was a makeup artist on SNL than my work making the actors break
Been watching SNL since I got out of the green machine in the 70's. This is a masterpiece amongst masterpieces. Watched these pros di this sketch countless times, and they all still make me laugh hysterically. Thanks you guys.. You're the best
I've been watching snl since the 70's (Most of the 90's Episodes weren't all that funny. To me anyway) But this skit right here is forever on repeat in my head😂😂😂😂😂
Keenan's eyes narrowing when he first spots Beavis.......😂Keenan deserves a lot of praise by playing it straight throughout, helping make the skit the classic it has become.
@56postoffice Keenan's unwavering straight face truly elevated the skit to classic status!
He's good! He never broke.
Keenan is incredible. This shows the potential SNL has. I'd put this up against the MacDonald, Sandler, Farley and and Farre
As if he needed a clearer view😂
Considering how long he’s been an actor I wouldn’t expect any less. I would have been surprised if he did crack.
I love how they clearly did not let Heidi see these guys in full makeup before they did this skit. Her reaction is priceless!
@bobbressi5414 It was such a spontaneous and genuine reaction from Heidi, wasn't it?
Heidi stated after the fact that she had seen them with the full look, but Mikey can connect with Heidi so well and make her laugh so easily she just lost it.
You're clearly wrong
@@theexposurenetwork365she said that he didnt show as much forehead or gums in the rehearsal so she wasnt expecting him to look so intense 😭

Nearly half a century of SNL. This bit is right up there with the very funniest stuff. Instant classic
@johnneville3789 That's high praise! It's great to see SNL still hitting those comedic highs after all these years.

@Vejur9000 That was priceless-Heidi's gesture and laughter made the scene unforgettable! LOL
Best skit SNL has done in about a decade.
@thedirtyrancher01 I'm thrilled you enjoyed it so much-definitely a standout skit for sure!
Agreed.I haven't seen as funny in awhile, not since Chevy Chase in the Jaws sketch Candy gram.😄

It sure has been awhile since I whole heartedly busted a gut with an SNL skit !!!
Whoever came up with the idea for this sketch, should get a pay raise. Absolute genius.

I love how Keenan starts with his very “professorial” voice and then sounds like a teenager when he starts talking about Beavis and Butthead
@seiyulyu4854 Keenan’s transition from a serious professor to a giddy teenager talking about Beavis and Butthead was pure comedic gold!
Keenan said he got all the laughs out during dress rehearsal
I have watched this skit 5 times now. Tears every time. I have broken up the watchings over weeks though. Heidi breaking character made it epic!
