そんな綺麗な歌声じゃ誰にも刺さらん
四十数年前下宿をしていたことがあり、友達が押しかけてきて騒いだ事を思い出しました。隣地の下宿に同級生の英語が得意科目の女の子が、夜食のおにぎりを持って来てくれて、英語の試験対策を教えて貰ったりもしました。良い曲は良き思い出も運んでくれます。
こんな短い言葉でも主さんの言葉に感動しました。
ぜひ小説を書いて欲しいくらいです。
wakanaさんのうたごえに感銘を受けました。それだけにこの曲を歌うにはきれいすぎる声とも思いました。加藤登紀子さんがこの曲を書いたのは、「ゆれていた時代の熱い風に吹かれて」とあるように学生運動真っ盛りで彼女自身も獄中結婚をするという激動の時代。ただ昔を懐かしんでいるわけではなく、新しい時代をつくるという夢が散った挫折も含まれているのだと思います。音信不通の昔のともというのはそういう挫折を味わった中の一人なのかもしれません。
だからwakanaさんに歌うなということではもちろんありません。wakanaさんがいろいろな曲をカバーしたアルバムのトップにこの曲を選ばれたのは、wakanaさんの中での思いがあったからこそだからだと思います。各曲にどのような思いを込められているのか、このカバーアルバムを通して聞きたくなりました。

もし「時には〜」などカバーしてなかったら、別の曲をカバーすることになっていたのかも…。

Everything about this MV is ART! Just look at that final shot with the chair and frame. UTTERLY GORGEOUS! The juxtaposition between old and young, the simple studio and lush forest setting, the black and white dress. And Wakana looks so beautiful in every shot.
The nostalgic atmosphere fits the song perfectly.
Wakana's singing is angelic (as expected).
