I really hope I can be restored. I had rejected the beliefs of the world and god out of spite of man because I felt like man had treated me poorly when I was younger. Right now at 26 I want to do whatever it takes to restore my faith, I want don’t want to be a lukewarm Christian anymore

Man, i hope to achieve such a level of faith. I do my best every day but it just feels like nothing but suffering and slowly losing my identity without God replacing any of it with enjoyable Biblical hobbies/music/friends. Video games is sloth, working out is pride, non secular music is idolatry. What is there to life anymore? How can I smile when the only time i feel happy during the day is when Jesus relieves me of my guilt and torture?
I listen to Christian worship music, I work out, and I read the Bible. I have a tone of fun as a man if God

Ok testimony time I was about 6 to 7 going through the motions saw many getting saved I decided to get saved too so as the years past my life didn’t change never prayed never read the word didn’t really understand what it meant to be a Christian but when I was 12 went to the camp in Arkansas camp beaver fork Wednesday night I felt something like a fire in my heart now I know who it was that was the Holy Spirit got saved lived as a lukewarm and now I spread the gospel with confidence pray read the word try to be like my Lord and follow in his light even though I mess up So yah my testimony ❤Amen

Great testimony, i truly got saved at 12 too, God did amazing things in my life but i backslid and i felt miserable ngl, but im choosing to repent and turn away from my worldly way's. the Holy spirit feel's close now and he's helping me, God bless you
Marcus, please help me with my situation related to your miraculous word.
I have been falling in lustful sin for months, recently to the point where I don't pray nor read the word (ignoring Him). I used to be free for a while but I fell back into the loop just like you said. I feel abandoned and afraid that I may have committed an unforgivable sin by wallowing in my pleasures over God because I condemned and convinced myself that I am too weak to defeat temptation. I still feel shame over my sins, but it doesn't feel the same as the Holy Spirit's conviction. I have been trying to fight fire with mere water. The humiliating truth is that I loved my sin and I didn't know how to starve it or love God more than it.
I asked the Lord if I had nothing left in me and whether I ever rejected Him. A day or two later I'm at this video!!!
I never thought that God didn't exist/was evil or anything like that. Nor did I leave Christianity in this season of spiritual death. I want to love God like I used to but it feels like it'll never be the same again.
I haven't deconstructed have I :(?
If not, how do I grow in the Spirit of Christ again?

Who would have thought so many topics would be debatable when it comes to having faith. Why can't people believe in God without being judged? No one is any better than the next one. It's hard enough out here every day as it is just to make it. It also doesn't mean the ones that don't attend church believe any less than the ones that attend every Sunday. Just my opinion. I am saved. I am baptized. I mess up. I sin. I ask forgiveness. I love Jesus. Amen!
Being a Christian is one of the most debatable things there is unfortunately. People all have opinions and they try to interject them into the faith as truths and it causes division
Jesus said Himself, forgive a man 70 x 7 times in a day if he repents. How much more mercy does God have than a man?
why would you think I deconstructed my faith?? were all human, we make mistakes. I think "deconstructing faith" is something pretty different. My faith is unbreakable. my flesh is a burden. Im alone and have been screaming for friends and community. Isolation is tearing me apart lately...I have been praying for community for so long, I am struggling alone lately. ..

@@marcusdixon1 no worries, my feed is flooded with similar messages brother, there's spiritual things going on with me that I just don't quite understand fully and it's getting hard for me to not the full details. I'm isolated and my mind is my own worst enemy sometimes. I apologize for making assumptions, it's my own guilt for a stupid mistake I made. Not your fault brother, no worries. I'm going through so much man. I have no one to discuss these issues with so I'm fighting this battle alone and it's just really starting to get overwhelming man. I apologize. I love you brother. Practically speaking, all mysticism is either unfalsifiable superstition or literally demons outside God. Either way, it's a waste of time
I’m by myself everyday in a state with no family it gets hard I learning how to pray and read/comprehend better due to adhd I’m scared
I have Adhd too but I had it since I was little I grew out of it in my late teen years am 20 now but I still struggle with memorising scripture and verses and I often have doubts if God is with me or not and I struggle when going through hard times bcs I constantly have to remember what God did for me in order to get through the struggle I hope this helps you
Don't be scared my friend! You have Jesus. What I would do though is start going to church. I live in a city with only 2 of my family members but I made a lot of friends by getting involved in a local church and it has made an incredible impact in my life.

Ok what type of forgiveness forgiving others or God forgiving you
Well there is the first step you need to do which is repent of your sins to God and He forgives you and you washes away the sin. You are forgiven. The other type of forgiveness is between people. When you wrong someone or they wrong you, we are told to forgive them because God has given us grace and mercy so we also must do the same for others. The Bible says that we need to forgive each other or we won’t be forgiven. Also, if you forgive someone, we shouldn’t bring it up and throw it in people’s faces when we get mad all the time either. That means you haven’t forgiven them and you have bitterness in your heart

I think if you reject the faith you are not saved anymore but that’s my opinion. I don’t truly know the answer
@@marcusdixon1 my church teaches once you’re saved you’re always saved, which is what I tend to believe, but this does make me want to continue to do my own research and studying on this topic

I just dont know how. I was walking with God but i listened to a lie of Satan and i have fallen away for a while, its like i want God but i don’t want to do the things to get closer to Him and i just don’t know how to move closer to God i would pray yet sin right after it’s like if only i didn’t listen to the enemy me and God would still be having a GREAT relationship but its just like i dont wanna listen and its hard to do anything but sin
Yeah, it seems like you’re in a tough spot especially because you want something but until you start reading the Bible and praying along with actively trying to not sin, you’ll keep feeling bad

For me i am never sure i am saved u heard from me a few times because i dont feel the holy Spirit sometimes i do hear a voice inside my head telling me not to do something but its mostly when it comes to food i dont feel convention for sins but i do feel the need to help others and i want to give money when i should
But i do pray and i do believe in god and Jesus and i believe that Jesus die for my sins but here my problem i dont feel it in my heart i actually dont feel much of anything in my heart and it scares me
And when i read the bible it more condemning than just a normal rebuke and then i am afraid to read anymore
I never had the being out in public coming to Jesus i did it myself in my room so maybe it didnt count ?
I struggle with the exact same feelings, I feel extremely guilty for having doubts. And I feel this way because I know it's wrong to doubt God. I simply never feel like I'm doing enough, or that I'm backsliding perpetually. But the thing that I have to remind myself is Jesus loves me that when I confess Jesus is Lord, and believe in my heart that God raised Him from the dead I AM SAVED! I would recommend reading Romans chapter 8 if you haven't already. It really helps me when I feel like giving up.

Is Deconstruction real? I mean like can one truly forget about their being a all powerful (higher power) GOD... i don't think so... Like the verses you read... 😢 It's frightening and awkward to preach or talk about Jesus Christ with a stranger on the street or in person i find it extremely uncomfortable because at that point i will feel like a hypocrite... And REALLY need to live up to Jesus' standards i don't cuss... Or try not to... but it seems tempting because EVERYONE is doing it and yet talk about jesus or "know him" which aggravates me... And makes think is this all uselessness? Ive seen only once in my lifetime an actual "weird" encounter when asking God for somebody for me to talk abiut God to... and it was at a WINCO STORE (market) and i waited and waited... and right when me and my mom and little sister were JUST about to leave... LO AND BEHOLD! I see a disheveled sullen looking guy who looked quite troubled... Walk by us and said "how are y'all doing?" and smiled (i think) walked a few inches away but i responsed back and said "im good man what bout you?" And immediately he comes back to me and asks.. if i could share some spare change for him... and i saw this as an opportunity to pray a tiny bit (because i ain't the best at this..) [rookie] and yeah i jad noticed a pentagram tattoo on his arm i told him aww man that's bad bro blah blah- i shouldn't have judged him like that because technically its already on him but yeah still had to feel to let him know that its wickedness... idk... But yeah
Introversion or shyness or anxiety can really limit your skills in anything even sharing Jesus Christ with strangers thats why i talk about him online through the Internet :D
I think it is a real thing. I don't know how someone could do it but they do. You can search for it on youtube. There are so many videos about it. Some are more mild and mean that they tore down the religious beliefs about the construct of Christianity and they simply choose not to go to church or read the bible regularly, all the way down to rejecting Jesus and saying they would put him on the cross again when he comes back during the rapture. That's crazy. I don't think that Christians should cuss though. The bible clearly says let no foul speech come out of our mouths. I don't know how people call themselves Christians but cuss regularly but it happens. I don't. Once I stopped cussing it became gross to me and I think it makes people sound less intelligent. Good job on speaking to someone about God, even if you feel you didn't do a great job at it. Keep doing it and you will get better.

All these Hebrew believers are Not Saved yet.
In Hebrews 6,9 the word (accompany) in Greek is echo which means (to have) salvation.
These Hebrew believers will receive Salvation at Jesus 2nd coming = Hebrews 9:28.
Romans 11:26,27 confirms this.
These believers are not born again yet because the New Covenant has not started in the letter of Hebrews.
I didn't come to the same conclusion you did after reading into these verse that you provided. In fact, I came to almost the opposite conclusion and that the in second coming, the saving isn't referring to salvation but for the followers of Jesus, we will be with Him. We can't be called followers or belivers if we haven't been saved already.

n Hebrews 8:10 (...after those days...) is the great tribulation period, Romans 11:26,27, will support this because that's talking about Jesus 2nd coming and saving all Israel believers and starting the New Covenant with them after the great tribulation period.
👉The great tribulation is also mentioned in Jeremiah 30:3-11, in verse 7, the great tribulation here is = (that day is great, so that none is like it.). Israel will be saved out of the great tribulation.
