I learnt a lot today especially popping in the dark details of windows etc before your final washes. Can't thank you enough for your valuable lessons. I so appreciate your channel. I'm going through every one I've missed over the years.
    Thank you!! 🇦🇺

Watching you paint reminds me of my drawing teacher, Mercedes Matter, in Philadelphia so many years ago. Working the entire page so at any point the entire drawing/painting is equally finished/unfinished. She was very supportive and a mentor. An amazing teacher. As you are, I think.🙏

Thank you so much Kevo! Try painting 10 minute landscapes on 15 x 11 inch for a couple of weeks.

Hello Howard! What brand and type of paper do you use?

Hi Erkan. I use three different brands. In order of preference: Saunders High White / Arches Aquarelle / Bockingford. I prefer NOT surface but also use ROUGH whichever suits the subject matter best. I am also experimenting with the Hahnemuhle range. So far, I find them extremely good! Hope this helps 👍
