I quit smoking one year ago, just before Ramadan. Cold turkey, at once. I believe it’s Allah’s mercy. MashaAllah a lot has changed since, in a better way of course. My brothers and sisters, after less than 10 hours Holy month of Ramadan starts, I believe with all my heart that it is the best time one can ever experience. May all smoking brothers and sisters quit this filthy habit this Ramadan.
Just remember Allah brought him into your life and only He can take him away from you. And Allah is wise and he Knows what we do not know. So do not be afraid. Tawakal allalah. (Your statement my husband is leaving me)you are giving more power to your husband and forgeting that Allah is the one who can break bonds and build ones. pray to him for healing. and if he leaves later on in life you will know why Allah has taken him from your life.
Keep them on strict lockdown and lock all doors and don't let anyone out. Throw the keys as well as the cigarettes out the window to a friend, and have them do the shopping for you. Unrealistic but possible.
Talk to them and try to convince them. This requires continuous consoling. The smokers quits and starts again in short time..... so it's a continuous process..

Another great reminder brother, Allah has been teaching me this lesson lately too, I compromised my lungs by making bad choices and lately I have been dealing with this flu 😷 my lungs have felt very very congested, if I hadn’t been a smoker I’m sure I’d be in much better shape, but alhamdulillah I have stopped, and have been exercising and drinking lots of teas, and turning my bathroom into a sauna daily, it seems I’m getting better insha’Allah, make dua for me brothers and sisters id really appreciate it, and JazakumAllah khair, asalamu alaikum to whoever sees this ✊✊🏿✊🏻✊🏽✊🏾
