Disney Hawaii Cruise: See how Hilo became the place I want to revisit the most in Hawaii!

Welcome back to a Disney Cruise Line vlog series! We are on a 10 night cruise from Vancouver to Hawaii on the Disney Wonder. We have finally touched down on land in the port of Hilo, Hawaii!
In this video we take an Uber to the Hilo airport where we rented a car with Hertz. We run to Target to grab water and snacks, then head up the volcano to visit Volcanoes National Park. After a day of exploring, we head back down into town for lunch and a quick stop at the Hilo farmers market before returning our car and Ubering back to the ship.

I added it to my Amazon link!
I have the DJI mic set, but this is the first time it has ever picked up on my hair touching the mic. I got it for the January 2023 Disney World series and have filmed with it ever since. I’m not sure what was different this time for it to pick up on the hair muffles 🤷🏻‍♀️

We went late and some vendors had closed. It was rather underwhelming, we stayed maybe 10 minutes. IMO: I would not go out of your way to include it.

​@@ivie_anne Oooo that's really good to know! Yeah we have two days in nawiwili, one in Kahului, one in Hilo, and one in Honolulu, so we are just trying to find the best options for things to do! So if you have any more recs that weren't in your videos, that is highly appreciated!

I recently posted a video on Kauai! We went back and spent 5 nights and did things we missed out during the cruise. Including some incredible local eats, so check that one out!
For Hilo, I LOVED going to Volcanoes and wish we had more time there. I would have preferred spending 1 more hour there vs trying to fit in the farmers market. I would love to go back though! If you’re exploring on your own, my recap of the cruise breaks down all of our prices too!
