@@sharkattack3524 he can walk upright on two legs and the dude can climb straight up a tree. Rolling is just more efficient for him for longer distance travel.

I can't believe the owner just put him back in his cage, he must have been in excruciating pain. I can't understand. I just can't. 💔 I'm happy he's adapted so well.

What would you suggest they do in Malay? It's not the west, they can't just take him to a veterinarian... The Owner was probably a compassionate person, given they didn't just euthanise the Orangutan (as most would) instead deciding to seek out a sanctuary such as this - which again, they're not in the west, this is not an easy task.
2:10 The moment he climbed up the tree, that got me. Sometimes animals can give a lot of inspiration to us, if we feel sometimes that we can't do something.
or that the 2 injured orangutans recognize themselves in each other. a testament to conquering the physical world with spirit, love and friendship.

You’d have to have a strong backbone and abs to keep his body straight while climbing
I have not stopped watching this beautiful jungle school. Orangutans have become my favorite species.

@Jackson M in most cases poor local from surrounding forest will take baby orang utan as pet not knowing it's illegal. If Orang Utan has been transported long way from forest to big city like Jakarta then for sure it's owned by the rich. Eitherway it's really bad and people shouldn't take orang utan as pet.
It’s a relief to know Kopral is living a happy life now and also have a friend. These people are like angels taking care of these sweet animals.
It just AMAZES ME that animals can't speak. But they SHOW MORE COMPASSION AND UNDERSTANDING THAN MOST HUMANS.

Good thing to do if you like Orangutans is don't buy anything with palm oil. Ill be honest you not buying it wont help but at least you will know you didn't directly play a part in destroying there home. Sadly us humans don't seem to be capable of stopping ourselves from destroying our eco system for money. Billions of years of evolution getting thrown down the drain in just a few human lifetimes.

It made me in tears that how this innocent faced a lot due to human greed but still god is there to help him and made him happy with this organisation.a lot of love from India.
These orangutans are suffering so much. I saw a documentary that broke my heart. An orangutan fighting to ward off men trying to burn the tree he was in. Broke my heart

@@Sandyhooker it was sometime last year. in borneo kalimantan where the rich landowners burn the forests to own land. on a news/documentary. cant remember what.
God isn't the one who's helping him, and when you concider that there are probably a bunch of apes much like this one who don't have nearly as good a life it doesn't even matter. Credit should absolutely go to the people who made this apes relatively comfortable life possible.
The organisation helped him, not god.

I was so choked up watching this. I thought I was having a bad day...what some animals go through and they're still so resilient.
How sweet, his friend gave up his comfortable seat and volunteered to hang on tight to the trunk so he would have a place to sit 🤗🤧😭

@@Mark-xp4fw If you had a dog and the dog suffered a serious injury, would you take the dog to the vet to get it medical attention? IF you took the dog to the vet and the vet said that there was nothing they could do for the dog and the dog was in severe pain, would you just take it home and wait for it to die? OR would you ask the vet to humanely euthanize the dog to end its suffering? This "owner" just brought the orangutan back to his cage to die. THAT is abuse and heartless. If you feel differently then well OK, but I see what the "owner" did as cruel and abusive. You do NOT let injured animals die slowly and in pain.

Kopral would have ruled the canopy with that voice sack, cheek pads, and take-charge attitude! He’s absolutely amazing and it’s beautiful to see him living as free as is safe in the forest, rather than in a zoo enclosure!

I love Orangutans so much and am trying to figure out at 36 years of age, what I got to do to work with them. I STILL have time. Kopral and Shelton are so inspirational

Wow, to cope disability like he does without arms, this is because Orangs are highly intelligent. They find solutions and it s awesome to watch the variety of solutions they are able to find! Also, they are compassionate beings, help each other, comfort each other.

Warum können wir Menschen nicht so mitfühlend sein, warum geht es bei uns nur nach Aussehen, Kontostand usw.???? An diesen Tieren sollten manche Menschen sich ein Bsp.nehmen, wie es auch ohne Vorurteile gehen kann. Es ist eigentlich erschreckend wie Tiere uns zeigen müssen wie die Welt aussehen könnte. Lasst uns Alles tun um diese wunderschönen Kreaturen zu schützen!!!!

I think what amazes me the most is the curiosity they have, which leads them to wanting to solve problems. its amazing that a handicapped orangutan solved the issues his handicap put in place. also, him helping his also handicapped friend....that's where morality evolved from in us, just via our ancestors (I dont mean: we evolved from the orangutan.).

I grew up going to Church and reading the Bible. I asked Jesus into my life at age 23; just six weeks after the birth of our fifth child. I was 17 when I married my 18 year old husband. He has also surrendered his life to Jesus much later in life. We believe our marriage is forever and we will be together long after we leave this life and go to dwell with our Heavenly Father. So far we have been married over 53 years and still love, respect and treasure one another! Our God has been given our live and showed us how to love one another; as well as others.

I made the choice to have Him rule my life at age 23,, and you have not yet made your choice. It doesn't matter, God loves both of us equally. We are both His children and He is such an amazing being to care for us the same. I hope someday, you will invite Him into your life. ❤️

Oh! Poor darling, I dought if the owners got in trouble. They could of prosecuted them for having him as a pet.
oh boy............my cat looked at me with one of those "you upset mama?" looks and came sat next to me.......just instantly choked up and tears welling when saw Kopral walking out with no arms..........wondering oh no he can't climb, how difficult it must be for him as a primate that basically climbs trees........then pure surprise and joy to see eating just fine (of course their feet are basically hands!!), and then he climbed the tree letting the other Orangutan to 'move it peese' ....just WOW. flip....then the story of Shelton and Kopral as buddies. Flip......what a story to move the soul into overdrive xo from New Zealand
