You can apply fertilizer throughout the year in 45 days interval, my Begunia is in full sunlight since plantation, but it better if you can keep it semi shaded area

You can light prune it, it is add extra 1 teaspoon superohosphate, for each pot, with the fertilizer as mentioned.

Bougainvillea needs full sunlight if you don't have open space keep your plants in indirect sunlight , blooming quality may differ, best wishes
But I see bouganveillia growing in parks where nobody trims it but still it flowers so much
Bougainvillea in wild area require less care but when you want to grow in pot , will require more care and attention

8-10 inch is best, I prefer 8 inch in initial stage

Remove polythene and keep your plants in indirect sunlight, water as required, let's root come out,
