I don’t think enough attention is being paid to the line “you came this close to almost making your goal.”
When I first saw this scene I thought Tony, Phil and everyone looked so concerned and heartbroken. As if they had sympathy for Johnny. But then it cuts to the scene and all his "friends" are talking behind his back. Lol
He's an emotional man he loves his daughter.
Legend has it that Don Ho still waiting hi from the bride.
“Oh you do, do ya” lmao Chris knew to shut up
Feds couldn't at least wait for his daughter to leave, complete pricks.
The actors just did as ordered by the director and the scriptwriters.
Fuck that. These people are criminals that brutalized, murdered and stole from regular people to enrich themselves. They should have been humiliated at every turn.
They prolly thought Johnny was getting away
They didn’t even spare a glance at poor Ginny when she collapsed. You’d think one of them would at least check her out but no.
Being a cop/fed doesn’t give you the right to be unemotional and harsh. They are to support the public, not turn their back on them or be rude.
Its actually funny
Jersey is a smaller state than new york but with ginny sac in it gives the empire state a run for the money.
There aren't any earthquakes in Jersey but there definitely was one that night
Phil was so "disgusted" by John's very normal display of emotion because he is so caught up in this hyper-inflated concept of manhood he has. For Phil, to be a man is to reject essentially every single vulnerable feeling that one would experience, to succumb to what you're feeling is "weak" to him. Ofc, he has to uphold this absurd structure in his mind because if he didn't, it would force him to acknowledge on some level that he's gay. Pure pathology.
Or maybe it's just dangerous to let all those savages see you cry.
Yet he bitches about his time in the pen nearly everytime which I forgot how long was that. He never clarified
You just don’t have the makings of a varsity athlete
Oh I see you got your psychology degree from youtube comment section university.
Dr. Phil over here.
I love how Phil knows the story of Cinderella so well.
Took him all 20 years in the can to learn it
Never seeing daylight again, I would cry too.
Say hi to Don Ho! I dont know why I found that so hilarious 🤣
1:18 This is a Curb Your Enthusiasm scene. Phil’s face LMAO
I think it was John's realization he couldn't be there to meet Don Ho that caused him to get emotional.
