Most welding projects go good for me until i get to the small parts like latches, hinges, handles and things like that. They always take more time than i plan for them.

Just use high heat spray paint from your local hardware store. You’ll most likely only be able to find matte black in store, so if you want other colors probably check online. Make sure it’s high heat rated though.
