      I apologize I haven't uploaded it yet! The hotel we stayed at in Zanzibar is Zanzibar Queen and we used our points from Chase card to stay there. It was a nice low key hotel.

    We’re planning to hike Kilimanjaro in February 2023. I have been getting quotes from local companies. One thing is not clear about lunch during the hike. Most of them mention about pack lunch. Don’t they provide hot lunch everyday?

    • @TrekkingPals
      @TrekkingPals  2 роки тому

      Most companies don’t provide a hot lunch every day. Pack lunch would be a small lunch box with say a sandwich, some protein, fruit and a juice which wasn’t bad. Typically, you get a hot dinner every day.

      There is a a misconception about hunting in general. Hunting is a valuable skill to have. Our race wouldn’t have survived if it wasn’t for hunting. Everything goes back to the land to almost 0 waste and it’s eco friendlier compared to mass production of poultry and factory farmed cows and many other forms of meat production. Hunting in the wilderness in this area of the world is supported by the government within the rules and regulations. There are many tribes in East Africa that still live off of hunting to sustain themselves.

      I think you need to differentiate between hunting for food and hunting for sports . Big difference.
