The newer Rivals look like cheap toys without at least stripes. The industrial design is still nice. Also interesting they've only released two different ones in blue and two others in red. I'm glad I got the Takedown.

Rival Phantom Corp white including red and blue flags was a cost cutting measure/streamlined production so they could stock one plastic color. I wonder how many Rival Blue compared to Red they sold. I like Blue and White myself. Never was a fan of the color red for some reason. It depends. The red Takedown looks good as a shotgun sidearm but needs some stripes to make it pop on the shelves imho

I thought the blaster was dysfunctional so I went to the store and exchanged it. I went home and shot it and it jammed really bad but I fixed it, and three days later I learned how to use the gun and wowie! This blaster is exceptional! But still buy a Kronos.
I think the main reason for the Finisher's jamming problems is the whole barrel movement system. Guessing from the movement of the barrel, I assume it moves the entire loading assembly to push in a new round which is why it would need a more steady, deliberate prime.

But the point of a sidearm is to quick draw and shoot someone as an emergency shot. When you have to take it out then put the mag in, it kinda defeats the purpose of a pistol
@@Luke_212 ok let me put you in a pov. POV: Your primary is let's say the Hera. You just pew pew at first, but then you see an enemy around the corner. You don't want to alert other enemies, so you take the mag out of the Hera (assuming it's loaded) and since the mags are cross compatible, you put it in through the Finisher and silently kill the unsuspecting enemy
I feel like this gun was made when one of the devs at nerf lost the design picture of the kronos and had to make it again without looking at a kronos lol
ive got one myself and in my opinion it's amazing! (btw the jams occur Only with old and crummy mags and you can fit it in a few special holsters with or without the mag inserted and you could buy a pouch to hole the mags to fit it in most holsters)

I just snagged one of these. I have to respectfully disagree with the comfort of the grip. From front to back, it gets wider - and from top to bottom, it also gets wider. The flat trigger also feels kind of sharp on the crinkle of my trigger finger. I don't have baby-sized hands (grown ass man), yet I find the whole grip and trigger to feel almost disproportionately shaped. It reminds me of Rey's blaster from the Star Wars Nerf line, and a few Accustrike and Mega blasters as well. I have to choke up on the grip to comfortably pull the trigger, but then the grip feels weird - and if I find the sweet spot on the grip, the trigger is awkward to pull. The grip is smooth, but that's really the only positive I can mention. 🤷♂️
I'm definitely glad I checked this review out on the off chance this blaster reaches the UK. Btw I actually like the hair haha hope you're doing well during these crazy times man
I just got it today!! Its pretty good! After spending money, I thought I was gonna deal with malfunctions just like my Yellow Fortnite Sniper Rifle. But I realized that I had to pull back the thing on the top and release it to the front to load it fully. Overall, I never had problems with it. Its Great!!

Mine jammed like crazy. I literally never got more than 3 rounds in a row before it jammed, and that was being very deliberate. And since the mag doesn't work in other blasters, it's pretty useless overall. Only blaster I've ever returned to the store, sadly.
SAME! I never got to actually shoot anything in it, but minutes after buying it I tried using the priming handle, and it became loose, and wouldn’t click in any direction.
Wish it was automatic, magazine and the gun itself reminds me of the mp40, and it fires fine for me, no jams with the original magazine, but it struggles with any other rival magazine, you can fire the gun very very quickly in the original magazine without any problems its a fun gun
