Note about the sideswipe, the lock on the internal mag is very liable to wear and tear and my lock stopped working after only a week of use, it just means you have to hold the mag spring in place manually no big deal. But if it's a deal breaker for you keep that in mind Also the flex's catch mechanism is a bit frail for the spring weight so keep that in mind and don't abuse this blaster BTW the hop up extends further into the barrel when you tilt the barrel to get a more dramatic curve, that also explains the decrease of fps.
The look of the Side Swipe is SLICK. Looks like something out of a SciFi setting. I don't care much for the gimmick but I want one just to have something weird and neat looking to go play with.

For when your not fighting in a war, it’s really fun to try trick shots with its curve, and just mess around with it. And for wars, i wouldn’t use it for close range, but long range. Especially if your outside a house or something, and there’s a lot of corners. I get to a position right before they could hit me around the corner, put the curve on, and get the right height and you should hit. Also, because of its curve, it’s has really long range. Not the hardest shooter, but if you hit, doesn’t matter how hard it hits. But it has long range because of it’s curve upward, it just keeps flying and seems to never stop. And that’s my review,c if you have an questions I’d be glad to answer. Definitely recommend buying it

I think the FPS drops because when you rotate the barrel, the hop up tab actually extends slightly. So it creates more hop up than just rotating a standard Rival blaster.

imo: the flex is basically an upgraded version of the knockout. The knockout is really annoying for me because I have to prime it halfway and manually open the breach, load the ball, close the breach, and then prime the other half of the blaster so I'm glad the flex opens the breach when primed.
Personally, I love the knockout. The reloading process makes it more tactile and generally more fun to use. Really, neither of them make sense practically since the Kronos is barely any bigger.
I’m very excited to see what modders will do with this thing an increased hop up to increase the curve or a stronger spring and this would looks sick in a sci-fi paint job

The performance is decreased when you twist the hop up because it moves ever so slightly downwards when you twist the nozzle to exaggerate the curve more
I think your chrono results are different because the hop-up unit extends when you turn it, so more pressure and resistance is put on the ball therefore it could be affecting performance.

Now thats a flex. That is just a really cool design even from a purely mechanical perspective, well done nerf for actually making something mechanically interesting.
As far as practicality in a nerf battle goes it is actually useful in certain scenarios. You could curve the disks of old nerf vortex guns by tilting the gun to fire the disk tilted and if you knew someone was down a hallway you could prefire the hallway before they could see you by curving the bullets. Granted you have no accuracy whatsoever so its just blind spray and pray but as suppressive fire it works quite well.
