I bought this for solo play. Nice game to play at night that is not too brainy.
The final map is pretty satisfying. Great review.
Very clear and best explanation of the game play

The solo play is very chill. The best solo games are ones like this, where they is almost no setup.

Where did you get those awesome wall tiles!?

I custom ordered them from a canvas print company. I don’t remember the specific one I used, but there are many out there.

Cool review! I didn't espect much in the beginning, but the game seems very fun. I was a bit confused in the beginning, since you didn't mention it was cooperative until later in the video.
Also, doesn't adding the additional tiles make the game easier, since you would automatically gain more points? It seems like it would make more sense to first remove the same number of tiles before adding them in.

Oh you are right, I totally forgot to mention it was cooperative upfront. I was filming super late to avoid traffic noise and yet there was still tons of traffic.
There are separate scoring tiers for when playing with 1 expansion or with both. So they increase how many points are needed to do well.

@@tabletalkreviews Yeah, though I got it pretty fast. So no big deal. ^^
Adding different scoring for the expansions makes sense.

Thank you for making this informative video!
I love the board game art hanging on your wall. Can you please share where you purchased it? Ty!

I got them custom made. I found a canvas printing company and used tile art from various board games I like. I think I used Canvas Champ, or I at least checked their prices and now get spam mail from them.

@@tabletalkreviews Thank you so much for the information! I appreciate the quick response. I'll definitely price around. Did you just give the canvas printing store the actual tiles in person or did you just take a high resolution pic of each tile and uploaded it all online?

@@renees5672 I was able to find images online, they weren't all very high resolution, so some don't look super good close up. I can't remember if I photoshopped the edges or if their software did that. I think you can choose between coloured edges or mirror the image. I wanted the image in case it wasn't perfectly aligned on the frame.

If you are willing to do a little work yourself, a cheaper way is to buy canvases from a dollar store and mod podge images onto them. I did this to make little comic books for the wall.

@@tabletalkreviews Thank you for all the helpful information! I'm excited to try making these canvases.
I'll post a pic when I get them done. Ty!

    Is this replayable? Thanks

    • @tabletalkreviews
      @tabletalkreviews  Рік тому +1

Yes it is. Different tile order creates a new "puzzle" every game and the number of directions you can spread out in varies based on player count. Two mini expansions are included as well, so you can add 1 or both in for 4 different possible sets of tiles to play with.
