LOVE it - It works just as you have shown. I am going to add a CPL filter to my camera and see the results with "floor glare" near sliding doors and other shiny surfaces like the shower door - will let you know how it works out (pretty sure it will be good).
Wow! the HDR works great with the polarizer as expected, as long as I adjust the camera for what looks like a 1+ stop down from the filter. Also, I tried to adjust the white balance to compensate for a bit of warming from my low cost K&F polarizer (a bit wonky there BUT auto WB is still best when shooting Raw anyway as you have said). All good!
so I took a few practice shots bin my house…set the exposure @0, then popped a 1/4, a 1/2, and a full power shot, WTH the AD 200 on the mini monopod/cage, with a MagMod sphere on it…blended 3 HDR shots with Enfuse, then used your method of blending the flash with color/darken modes & tweaked in LR…kinda satisfied with the results…
Great tutorial! Your towel comment made me smile, I did my 1st listing shoot the other day for a realtor and the constructive feedback I got was that I should've 'moved more stuff' out of the photos, particularly a dog guard..you live and learn! 😉
Oh for sure! I've been doing this 6 years now and still miss entire rooms on a rare occasion. I do offer to go back and shoot it or I refund them some money in some cases. Ugh. Lol.
Yes. When you duplicate layer and make it darken mode, you can paint back in as much flash as needed. The color layer corrects for color similar to doing luminosity mode.
Nice Discovery Joe! I just tested this out on yesterday's shoot on a sample room and it worked. Slick!
Sweet! Ya. This is my new method for almost every situation. Results are so much better!
WOW! This is a fantastic timesaver, my friend. Thank you.
You're welcome!!

@AerialLensVideo once things slow down for me, I've got a few new videos with new strategies to show. Stay tuned! Thanks for your comment!

Looks great, Joe! Nice tutorial 👍
Thank you.
I see a new Action coming soon to my Actions List. Thank you!
Amazing tutorial. I mean all your videos bro
For an ambient shot , what would you recommend for exposure? Sometimes 0 isn’t enough.
Most times I'm pushing that histogram to the right so +1 usually gives me enough.

Sounds good to me. It's all just trial and error and making sure you get enough shots to work with! Thanks for the update!

@@joefoto yeah I would've too, but it clearly wasn't a deal-breaker for them..luckily!

Hi Joe, great video, thanks a lot!
Quick question, I assumed that you use M mode, why don’t you use TTL auto mode?
Ttl is not consistent and ends up taking longer.
Nice! If you have a composite, are you blending that first, merging, then moving it to the top and duplicating the layer to color?
Yes! Build your flash layers into one image then begin this process.
Thanks Joe! Great channel!
Thank you. Appreciate it!
Interesting method, but there's no control over ambient %
