I hope this research has upgraded their headsets and used higher frame rate virtual worlds. Seeing what they are using here looks outdated and nauseating
Great point, and thanks for raising it. We have moved to using more recent technology plus we have involved autistic groups much more to help inform what to use and how to deploy. We've captured such great insights and the research is far better informed as a result. Using Quest and HTC Vive (along with cardboard+smartphones) have proved to be really interesting. So this work continues and develops as the technology does :-)
@@nnewbutt I have a student that owns an Oculus, do you know where I can find good apps for communication skills, shared point of interest, life skills and independent living?
What progress have they made in VR learning environments for Autistic students since this video came out?
This is a great resource for Autism.
Trying to get this for my autistic son.
Anyone else just notice the HD600s?
