I had ambitions to co sleep and do some of the more holistic things… my sleep difficulties and my daughters temperament threw that out the window. I’ve actually found some of the most judgmental and ignorant people really heavy into the holistic stuff and it’s absolutely BS. Saying things like babies can’t self settle - my daughter was doing it before any kind of sleep training during the night times after being put down (babble away, wiggle around, off to sleep).
My daughter naturally got to a point where she got annoyed with my attempt to co-nap with her during the day and actually had a preference for her little bed 😆 she’s an independent spirit.

yes to this!!! It's so true, there is so much judgement and we need to let moms do what they feel is best and support each other!

I love that you shared this. But I think this is called having a really easy going baby. Good for y'all! That is truly awesome! I wish it were that simple for us. 😅

Thank you for sharing! I have a 10 month old and am hoping these four hour stretches will roll into longer sleep.

Pregnant with my first and I’m not even a holistic kind of girl but I love your videos. This video I have been looking for! I definitely want to sleep train from as early as possible and love to hear your method of what worked from you. You’re really a great mom, you should be proud of yourself💗

Love this! We did something very similar with our daughter. She has been sleeping 11-12 hours at night also and it's been a life saver! So happy Sage has been a good sleeper.

Super helpful video! Thank you! Due in May and I’m aiming for this sleep training “ish” approach.

Such a helpful video, thank you for sharing! Do you think it would have been as easy if Sage didn’t take pacifier? I’m asking because I think the tips you gave are useful and I would consider trying it, but my baby doesn’t like pacifiers and I know they can be very helpful with helping baby sleep

I think they did help a lot but if she didn't have them she probably would have used to hand or something to sooth. It's hard to say though. Her deep love for them developed as time went on.

So you didn’t feed in the middle of the night? Just the pacifier? I think I might try that.

I did the dream feed around 10-11pm and then cut that out eventually and she just had the pacifier
