I’m tempted to buy this even though I’m not crazy about them. But I am a huge fan of Faust’s work. I’ve seen many of his murals around NYC. I think they should have ran with the drippy gold outline on the swoosh, that was a good idea.
Im really excited for these, its between these and the KCDC for my favorite high from this year. the details on these are crazy also with regards to the rose anvil and the phylon, I have the strawberrys and Fro Skates and never thought much of it until I saw him cut up the SBs but when id take the insoles out I was able to see through the sole and was able to see the phylon cut off at the forefoot area, I just rolled with it until i watched his video
Yeah it’s great insight! I always reach out to brands like “gimme all the details” and they usually just don’t have much tech info on their shoes. They must intentionally just keep it internal. We may start putting more thought into the shoe details. Skate em. Cut em up. See how they wear after 30 days or something like that

I dont expect it to get much better because were hearing that factories are now closing due to heat waves. so let that be a new factor into supply chain delays
Love Rose Anvil! Been following Weston’s channel since they were maybe 10k followers. Kinda sad how supposed higher end leather AJ1s have the same leather as AF1s. SB Dunk leather post-Gold Box era is hit or miss. Most Dunk’s leather after 2018 or so is plastic coated.
David, can you do a review on old Nike SB models that are no longer made like the Nike SB Zoom Team Edition or any of the old P-Rod's (btw - which model is your favorite?)?
I showed some of my old p-rods in the What The P-rod review I did. I think? that would be hard because I cant get my hands on most. I might skate in my Reese Forbes again? I kinda dug the team edition. The Polar trainers were pretty cool. My favorite shoe... hmm probably my Huf blazers or my Lost blazers? I never wore wither of them very much because I didnt realize they ran so small.... so I have shoes that I love that I cant wear or replace haha. fml

I’m trying to figure that out. It’s not just a me choice. Nike doesn’t allow us to sell online. They have very few online partners. During Covid we were allowed to but those raffles had over 100k entries so the chance to hit is just…. So low. Maybe we can do one pair on the channel? I’ve been trying to figure out what would be allowable or just not frowned upon but still mostly take care of our locals. That’s our place in Nikes eyes. We’re a neighborhood store. It can def be frustrating and feel like we’re put in a box…. But clearly they know how to run a biz so I do as I’m told. Haha
The left shoe and right shoe have different dates inside, and the right shoe came like 3mm shorter shoe length (both shoes are not exactly the same length)... Is that normal?
@@DavidBluetile can you check if yours have the same dates in both shoes? (In this model, Left and right shoe are different so maybe different factories, different manufacturing dates? And one might have a sole 3mm longer?) And measure the length of both? I bought them at stockx, verified. My left shoe says (inner white tag) "8/18/21 - 04/14/22" and my right shoe "8/18/21 - 4/19/22".
hmm im not sure. your local SB dealer that isn't a mall store. there is a dealer locator on the NikeSB.com website. www.nikesb.com but not all sb dealers will get them.
These for me is probably going to be a pass they are definitely nice but I just don't look good in dunk highs I'm more into low top sneakers wish I could rock highs I'd rock them for sure if they looked good on my feet lol

The EVA (phylon) is not underneath the forefoot because it would remove a lot of the board feel.
