True American Heroes
Never been in the military, but this near brought me to tears. Thank you so much to everybody who has served protecting my freedoms. I owe you all everything. My next pay check i will donate half to the wounded warrior project. Thank you all so much...

Its a shame that today's generation don't understand the privileged of being an American..Good video Brother.
The millisecond he brought up knowing what it's like to be an American then let it go for that fraction I lost it with you buddy. Well put
He is right... I have been around the world one more than one deployment and to see the world and how others are living and then come back to the states... It opens your eyes to what you really truely have and unless you serve you will never know what its like to give up those freedoms that so many people have died for. Much respect to my brothers and sisters of have paid the price for me and my family and for those still standing watch so that we can have freedom. This country can never do enough for the families that have lost loved ones but as people we should live each day as if the next day is not promised.
Thank you for your service
You nailed it Trey. Before I went to Korea I knew we had it good America. But when you travel around that country, especially up north, you realize very quickly that we take for granted the little things like indoor plumbing, running water, and sanitation. These are some of the simple things that keep Americans healthy. Great video.
longbowmd1 Word. My first deployment was to Bosnia in '96. I crossed the Sava into country to the sound of artillery fire. I can't count the night patrols through ghost towns filled with bombed and burned out houses, or the funeral marches of children through Zivinice outside Tuzla who'd died the night before. I remember a Sunday when a bunch of kids came to dig through our trash for food. There was a little blond Serb girl in her Sunday church dress digging through the slop for a morsel of food.
It was that day when I knew our mission was righteous and I've never taken the comforts of home for granted again, because no matter how bad it seems my life can get, there are people who literally have nothing.
djay6651 Thank you for your service brother. I too can recall many times watching the children in Iraq doing the same thing. Thank you for sharing those memories.
Very thankful for men like Scot and Tom, this video should have millions of views. They climbed the ladder to heights most men only dream about. To a regular grunt like myself, these men and their unit brothers remain our heroes and idols, for all time. Enjoy your freedom, I can only hope to cross paths with you warriors one day so I can personally thank you for being some of the best this country has to offer.
You can see the moment of frisson, when he recounts the sacrifice he's made, his family has made, the countless deployments, the many nights leaving his home with little to no explanation of where he's going or when he'll be back. It sends shivers down my spine.
His story brought back so many memories of how I felt when I got out in 2007 after serving for 13 years. It's so true how we as veterans cherish the liberties, freedoms and opportunities we have but yet so many fellow Americans take for granted.
Great video guys. Your service is much appreciated. Live the life you want to live. You have earned it. AMERICAN FREEDOM
Scott and Tom from my family and myself thank you so much for what y’all have done to ensure our freedoms. May God bless y’all
After 20 years in the Army around SOF units, this was an enlightenment to me. It took me 14 years to understand this ideology. Freedom to do what the hell we want. I finally realized - I have the right to CHOOSE. Too long, I've failed to exercise that right.
Huge respect for you, sir!
I could never get the words out what it is like to be an American! You sir just summed it up in 3 min. Required classroom viewing in my opinion actually just learned this IMHO!
Freedom is the chance to be better, the hope of the earth, oxygen for soul, the power of self-determination attributed to the will, in short freedom is everything. I have only respect and gratitude for all those have gone down range and those who will yet go.
I've seen both sides of the fence, Know EXACTLY what you mean, was USMC 4 years, got out a year, was so lost, confused, dazed or whatever...went back in for 11. Owned and sold a business, and only in this Country of Ours, could I have had these Freedoms. Thank You Brother, and Tom...although he never spoke, Hahaha...I did just recently see his segment recently on BRCC. Y'all Rock and Fill Me With Pride...Warriors Heart is and OUTSTANDING Organization. Keep On Keepin On Brothers in Arms...Much Love...SEMPER FI.
great to see your doing well tom. hope we can bring you and scot back out here in the future to train the boys again.god bless you both.
you guys are owed so much from all american you fought so hard and went through so much and i for one am very very glad that you are able to enjoy what being an american is thank you scot and tom and thank you very much to your families that went through the tuff times so all americans can be free i just wish more kids today would serve instead of thinking that america owes them
Still rings true today, for me 🇺🇸.. and still makes me well up for the men I miss, the time with family, the path we are on
Much respect to these guys
Hopefully it's going to be honest hard working Americans and guys like them that will not let our country fall
Thank you for your service
Man I need to train with these guys, thank you and your families for you sacrifice and service
Good video you guys, I pray you both are well.
Legends in their own time. Scott tearing up is exactly how I feel about how thankful I am for being an American. It's a gift from God.
God bless you men--thank you for guaranteeing the freedoms my family enjoy here in our great country!
HOOAH I love this- HUGE respect & honor you man
Amazing video man. I'm currently in the Marines and a little over 2 years in. 0311 is my MOS and I'll tell you this video makes me want to stay in. God Bless you man and thanks for all you've done and for this video. If it isn't too much to ask what is the name of the music in the back round playing? Thanks bud. Semper Fi.
stay in bro. once your done with the grunts get another mos go to the pogs and be a gym rat. i love the grunts but man field life sucks sometimes. Oh raw,
I was in the military so of course I identify with this but I can imagine that police and other civil servants can also relate. I also didn't really feel this freedom until I moved to the midwest after living in NYC.
i couldn't put it any better, ive been out for 3 years and this video explains it to the tee.
i have goose bumps right now! and i am not even american!
+Hans Hansen I'm sorry, but you're going to have to return those goosebumps. Those are American goosebumps. :p

God Bless THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA... Love to all those soldiers defending freedom, justice and democracy... Love from a patriot in India....... God Bless AMERICA......
Most have been a surreal feeling and thought process to say out loud and Not just think it internally, “I now know what it’s like to be an American...”
"For those who have experienced experienced it, no explanation is necessary. For those who haven't, no explanation is possible" - Old Zen saying. De Oppresso Liber brothers....
“I now know what it means to be an American. You know, it’s a good deal being a civilian here.”
*my eyes start to well up just like his and I get chills*
Sent shivers down my spine
God bless
I want the same liberty for myself and for my people.
Heroes! 🙌🏻🇺🇸
I wish I could take control of the world and give everyone these rights. The people that are oppressed the most would know true liberty.
Amen brother. I feel like veterans and those who come from a oppressive background can appreciate the freedoms and liberties we have here in America.
The GWOT generation is the best of us.
Hats off to you 2
Amazing vid

I love being American it's the best place to be.
1:15 got me all teared up FUCK
I'm a nurse, I make pretty good money. My neighbor who isnt here legally asked me, can I ask you what they pay you at that hospital? I told him. He looked at me with envy, and a little discontent. I should have told him, that in America, you're free to work your ass off and be a nurse, and make a good living.
Good Men See
Who's the 3 un-American who didn't like the vid lol
+Kevin Vann hillary obama and bernie sanders
Chad Preston No shit bro and those cheese dicks have now replicated to 6!
My brother and I are twins too and we wanted to be what they exactly became. All because probation and insecurity. It's not so easy to join.
Damn it feels good
I can''t find it but there's a video where Scot and Tom are sitting around a fire and Scot starts crying. I lose it every time.
HEROS !!!
Amazing vid...
Could you add captions for the deaf and hard of hearing? We are Americans too. :)
The six that gave the thumbs down should move to Canada and become Tories.
