@@xamyx725okay first I want to say I agree and just you sound so sweet and I hope you have a great day 💜, I even added it up and obviously I'm missing a lot of information like how much a full Balayage cost but I looked it up and say it's 450 which is what I found as highest so you can keep expectations realistic right? If the appointment starts at 5:30 that's two and a half hours then say it takes 9 hours because again we won't be realistic that would be 2:00 a.m. and she paid double (which i would say would be the bare minimum for staying overtime especially to about 2 a.m) I did the math and it would be $725 and that's not including if she want a haircut or glaze or anything which many people do if they get full balayage so if she's willing to pay over $700 at least great, otherwise just go on Saturday.(sorry its so long, I just get all steamed up when people act like no else's time is important) also I just want to add I'm not a hairdresser know my family is a hairdresser and my friends are hairdressers I only know what I wrote up here from watching her videos watching other videos and information I found online

But he also leaves time blocked out at the end of his work day that’s specifically reserved for in case something makes everything else run late or so there’s a designated time to fit in emergencies. Usually he’s able to go home early, but it’s there when it needs to be. I felt bad for them and I was falling asleep myself. There is no way I would deliberately choose to start an appointment that late in the day knowing full well my service would take that long. I was just booking another appointment for a long service this afternoon and contemplating that long time frame again. Thankfully I snagged a 9:30 slot and they know it will be an all day service. Hopefully I will have more than one set of hands doing it again. Braids always take a long time, especially when they are singles.

Business hours were designed so we can prep for reopening next day after all customers have left, and then go enjoy our lives after work. Our jobs include working within our business hours and even 1 million dollars will not buy you a special exception. I do remember working somewhere where you could book an after hours shopping experience for your company during the holiday, but again company required booking way in advance and even those after hours was limited to 3 hours because you can't expect your employee(s) not to go home at a decent time

Why be a stylist if these are the people you deal with?? Are any customers pleasant?

  • @elementarystemwithms.crosm5345

I don't want to get my hair done on my down time, so why don't you give up your down time to do my hair? Makes perfect sense! Run away from that client.

Well she could always leave work at 2pm and miss a couple hours of pay to get her hair done if she doesnt want to get it done on her day off

Jesus. Just take the Saturday and appreciate that the stylists would have gone out of their way to help you. People like that drive me nuts.

People don't get it that just because You have a day off doesn't mean that you're supposed to just sit on the couch the whole day. those are your days to get s*** done like getting your hair done

So if she likes the weekends to herself, why couldn’t she come in on Saturday? I mean like it’s literally a day that would be scheduled for HER.
