I lived pretty poor and her dad did too. We were separated. But I kept our baby out of daycare..my daycare showed us gremlins 1 and willy Wonka every day ..i thought that was normal at the time. I had nighterrors. Now I realize how sadistic that was I still think we were being experimented on because I was aware I was in a night mare and could make myself up on command and thats not normal..we also took naps there kids were always swallowing penny's and had to drink water till they puked it up??? Looking back im horrified but that was the reg. New Horizons. :( hope I just had a bad group of ladies . There are many fentanyl addicts that know the risk, yet make the decision to take that risk. That's why we separate overdose from poisoning. Which would you classify the cause of death in this case as?
The little children suffering due to the criminals who hide behind them deserve justice. The owners of this daycare both deserve the death penalty for the death of little Nicholas. That child had his whole life ahead of him and now his parents are in agony over his needless death -- my deepest condolences go out to them for their heartbreaking loss. It is past time to start setting examples in regards to the punishments that these lethal drug pushers/runners should face, especially where children are involved. May Nicholas RIP.
I would present life sentences with no parole only if they cooperate in revealing the next level dealers. Then give those criminals the death penalty.

Something that never actually takes away or even diminishes the pain. So my brain has to remind me to turn my attention to preventing as much as we can... others from having to endure the same. I suppose the tried and true... take the head of the snake. Even if that means crossing the border ourselves if Mexico can't or is unwilling to address this!

What are the inspectors duties when inspecting a daycare? Instead of jumping to, “well, maybe we have to check for fentanyl,” first ask, wouldn’t the inspector see/find the trapdoor first?

See now how come my grandson can’t get justice like this?! Dylan was 3 months old when he went to the babysitters stayed the night and died the next day. Months later after calling and calling the detective finally had us come in to tell us he was killed with fentanyl! 3 months old!!! Sure the babysitter is in jail but they told us we would be lucky to see her get 10 yrs!!! They want us to come up with a sentence that is lower than 10! Nope!!! She needs life and I have said it over and over to them all! My grandson died before his 1st Christmas! Laws need to be made! Now I will never see him or hear him! Dylan died Dec 3rd 2022. I want my grandson to get justice not a slap on the hand!
