- Pine Tar Soap for Men
I watched a lot of UA-cam videos before trying my hand at this recipe. I learned a lot of Do’s and Don’s along the way. I was nervous that it would accelerate after adding the Pine Tar to the soap mixture, but luckily it did not; and I ended up creating a nice manly-scented loaf of Pine Tar soap.
The fragrances used are listed below and created much more than I used in this recipe.

* 60g Bourbon Tobacco from Wholesale Supplies Plus - www.wholesalesuppliesplus.com...

I use an FO called Pine Needles(I think that's it) and one that's called Christmas Past but, it smells like pine with a bit of sweetness thrown in. My customers LOVE the scents. Pine Needles is a strong manly smell and the Christmas Past is a more romantic smell for women. Also, I remove mine from the mold as soon as it gets hard enough or it's difficult to cut for me. But, it sure is a popular soap where I am in Mississippi. I have to keep it in stock. Yours looks lovely and I bet it smells good. I sell mine for 8 dollars each for basic design soap....if you get fancy and design a soap then, you can charge up to 12 dollars a bar.
Yessssssss girl! Pine tar smell does carry over in the soap. I use a FO “Cuban Cigar” with patchouli and cedar wood EOs to bring the smell a little away from the “piney smell” and keep it woodsy. Women and men have loved the fragrance.🥰
Ooh, I bet that smells good! I have made an activated charcoal soap for men with Patchouli and Cedarwood essential oils with a little bit of Ylang Ylang. It did smell wonderful, enough so much that I used it myself. LOL. It was a favorite of one of my neighbors as well. Thanks so much for the reply.
That DID produce a beautiful soap loaf! I'm a little confused... why did you not just line it up so that the end of it was where the first wire came down so you would not have a partial piece at the start? It seems to me that, having done that, then that large chunk at the other end would have been big enough to make another cut & produce 2 more full sized bars. Is there a practical reason to cut off a small slice at the beginning?
