I played the OB and i didn't put much time in the game but am already a lvl12 elin priest. Its really funny never gets boring i already made friends there n stuff the world is big so i get lost easily but still its the UI & menus are simple gotta love em. And most of the classes are balanced in damage if u ask me.
To be honest, GW2 is one of greatest games I ever played, was there on first beta test, and even with a need of few adjustments (since was a beta) I had lot of funs, and really felt in the PvE battles like ever been in any other game as you can activlly dodge and use skills, and take good positining. From what you said, Tera seens to be like that too, just worried about the grinding as I don't really feel like playing games that require you to play 24/7 to be competitive and reach the level cap.
You can (did you really play the game?), but if you play in a group you can do 5men quests and dungeon, but this will make you lvl so fast that you can skip an area after the dungeon.
Well, I might give it a try sooner or later, does sound interesting and as the combat is similar to GW2, wihch I liked, might be fun PvE indeed. Only thing that really holds me back is the monthly fee. It kinda forces me to stay in one game (since paid for that month, will feel like -have- to play for that month). Alredy paid for the serial, they should have a better alternative isntead of preventing people to play if they don't do billing plans.
@Gamechild951 Once people is maxed lvl they either do Raiding stuff Pvp or both and having cash up Item in Pvp really gives you an edge. so the balance is off so F2p game is also known as Pay-2-Win.
Looks great shame the actually 'gameplay' won't be like it. wow is still the number 1 mmo atm but I would like to see something top wow top this something so hugely awsome it's will blow you're mind :D

It's really a way more skill rather then luck based game. You need to actually think while playing and making a mistake during boss or BAM (Big Ass Monster) fights can instantly mean the end of you (I know, I bought the game). Even with the fee this is the best PvE MMORPG out there now. Guild Wars might be better in PvP, but I doubt they will beat this game both AI and graphic wise.
I saw screenshots of the censorship though. They were really lazy with it. Just slapped on black shorts, didn't even bother to put back any design value. Its pretty sad really
@Gamechild951 I've play alot of F2p games and believe me people that play those game end up paying for a month and a P2P gamer. In P2P you have a set amount you have to pay like 14 bucks a month. while F2P gamer charge about 20 buck on cash up items. In F2P you can get far without buying Cash up Items, but most people that play those use the Cash shop. People are just scared of commitment on subscribing for a game. Also P2P games experience is a lot better in pvp its more balance.
The graphics are stunning! But then... I'm afraid it'll be just another grind fest with some random stuff that you need more luck than skills for gears such as Lineage 2 and Aion. And having monthly fee is a turn off. It's becomming an old model that doesn't please much players anymore. I'd give it a try if was actually 1 time payment, and pay for expansions as they came out, like GW1 and GW2.
Can't afford to pay for this game, going to go cry in my corner now because i want to play it badly. -Back to f2p games that are full of bots/hackers/trolls.-
its sad for elin... they just lazily copy-pasted the same plain shorts from one of the original outfits on all of them with no detail whatsoever, at least a bit of effort would have been appreciated... same goes for all the covered up bellybuttons and stuff, either lazy spandex patching or a copy of the robes textures, and their new sticky thread in the EU forum especially to remind us that changing the client is forbidden (read:don't you dare uncensor) is just adding insult to injury

F2P mmorpg is a dime a dozen spawn of shit genre of game, while they brag their community is large most likely (IE PWI) they count all the bot accounts and banned accounts to the 50 million users. It takes a genius to find out why ppl go F2P

this game sucks. don't play it. i admit that it has great graphics but that is it. story and quests are just contradicted. so compare to movie, it is like 'skyline' which has quality graphics and suck story line.

It's really a way more skill rather then luck based game. you lvl fast, you could most probably get to max lvl in a few weeks without too much trouble + you're never farming (atleast not without quests).
