Really, really impressed by this girl, she is out of this world beautiful but she is also so well spoken and grounded, she was able to take her message across perfectly, and I love liberal people.
I never understand why people would think that kids from the LGBT community are at any disadvantage. If you have LGBT parents, then you know that you were incredibly wanted- they decided to seek a way to have you despite all the stigma that comes with raising kids as a same sex couple, and they clearly couldn't have conceived you by accident. From what I've seen kids in the LGBT community are incredibly lucky because they are incredibly loved and valued by their parents.
RandomCactus what would you know. Stigma has nothing to do with the challenges children of homosexual parents face. Try to find a male role model in a homosexual man... you won’t.
I plan to adopt someday. Although I'm in a heterosexual relationship, many of these questions will likely still come up in my family. Children will ask who my kids' "real" parents are. Real parents are the people who take care of you.
Asking questions is okay. People learn through asking questions. Being ignorant and making false assumptions - that's what's bad. Yes, there are questions that are already built in a way it's clear the person is delusional and obnoxious.
+Sisyphus40 you sound like you're an ignorant 5 year old. Maybe you should check out what 'child abuse' really is before commenting something so horrid, because it's a serious matter that shouldn't be thrown around and put into another topic you clearly don't understand. A mother isn't determined biologically, just like you can have a perfectly fine unbiological family. Genes don't determine a family to be what it is. The woman who has had a motherly role since the first and that you relate to, IS your mother, biological or not. With the increasing amount of scientist progress we're making now, it's in fact possible to insert another person's DNA into the child's DNA in order to correct any faults in DNA given by the biological parents. This additional amount of DNA given to the baby from another individual makes them a part of the baby, and therefore makes them another parent, no matter how much or how little their DNA is contributed. It's not your position to tell an individual what family they do or do not have, and it's certainly not moral to tell someone they are abusing their child by telling them they have more than one biological parental role. You need to grow up and learn before putting immature, disrespectful and frankly, stupid comments like that. Reported.
I have heard so many people say that gay and lesbians shouldn't raise kids because they would get bullied and stuff and I was kinda giving up on the idea. But hearing her say all these things is really comforting
Aw no, don't give up :( I don't know if this helps any (I'm not great at this), but any kid has the potential to get bullied, not just kids with gay parents, but they can overcome bullying too, just like the other kids. Again, I'm not great at this, so if my words didn't help at all, I totally get it and I'm sorry.
Please do not give up! Are there jerks in this world who may bully a child for having same sex parents? Yes. Those same jerks are also likely to find any reason to pick on anyone who is different from them. Do not let them be the reason you don't have a child.
Honestly, my parents are gay, and you can ask any of these questions to me! I'm not one to be offended, but even still those people are just curious and are not looking to harm you or your parents.
Unfortunately, some homophobic people throw extremely private question out there just to cause hurt, embarrassment or to provoke other people. They are not genuinely seeking an answer to increase their knowledge or understanding.
I have two mums and two dads and I never get asked barely any of these questions. If I do, they are way more toned down and usually only asked people who are curious and just haven't been educated on the matter. I feel for the people who get asked stupid stuff like in this video!
I've been a fan of her but never did I know that she grow up with lgbtq parent. Kuddos to her lgbt parents for raising this such kindhearted gorgeous down to earth human being. Iloveyou Jo❤️
I'm gay, and all about new views. But all of these video's about things we shouldn't say to or ask certain groups of people, because the question might offend are unnecesserily restricting. Some of these questions are the first things I would ask too, purely out of interest. These are natural questions. This video should be '6 questions about having LGBTQ parents'. Let's not create stigma's or problems where there are none. If the world accepts all of us, we need to accept all of them and all their reasonable questions. Don't get offended, but help people understand.
elizabeth thats so true OmG. most Americans pride themselves in speaking English so "well" when in reality a majority of them wouldn't be able to talk like this bilingual girl did.
I've a question, I know what means LGBT but, what is the Q? Thank you! Very interesting video because I grew up in an homophobic family but I have friends that are LG and B and when I realized that was SO HARD for me, because I was taught to think that it is wrong, that's a sin, and my mind was a total mess. I think this kind of videos are helpful because, as me, many people will realize that that is not wrong
It must be suck having two parents of the same sex... I mean, you either get twice the amount of dad jokes or get stuck in an infinite loop of "go ask your mom." This was in no way ment to be offensive. I just found it on the internet and it cracked me up.
How often can you get a stunning, brainy and down to earth women like her maybe 1 in a million or billion she is a idol to more than what she wants to stand for and what she believes in i just wish we had more people like her drilling flawless sence into people's heads yes some models dont have brains but make no mistake she will take you down not with her beauty but with her beautiful brain
Being someone who is not educated too well on this topic, I was just wondering if someone could please explain how her female, 'mother', and male, 'father', are gay if they are an opposite sex couple. Thank you in advance :))
What a beautiful, compassionate and smart young woman, who was obviously raised with a lot of love and heart for others. Kudos to her and her parents. She is living proof that LGBT couples turn out wonderful kids who grow up to be honorable, decent citizens. 🥰👏✌️👍
love this video and it describes this situation perfectly. Shes been raised so well and she carries a sophisticated aura 100%. I disagree with the Mother/Father roles. Sure your parents no matter what the sex can teach you many things but a father could never bond with his child the way a mother could and vice versa. it's very different not to have a father/mother role in your life and it's hard at times.
She paints a perfect picture which is bias bs,maybe even denial! A girl growing up with 2 dudes & never even for a second longing for a mother 🤔.it's every child's birth right to have a mother & a father.
For my brother and I have 3 parents. My mom and dad was married together. Very short note my mom is gay and have a girlfriend who I have been living with for 10 pulse years. My mom gf have 4 kids of her different ages 3 adult 1 18 2 girl 2 boy. Me I 17 my brother are 14,13
So you wanna tell us something that is safe to talk about??? That we actually might be interested in, cause not everyone wants to be part of the lgbtq community.
sweetpeaify , they make it our business by bringing it up, usually in a very public way. They need their basic human rights met, don't kill them, don't assault or otherwise persecute them, but leave them to themselves. They just want to be left alone.
+Nuuur! If have a conversation with someone and they are okay with it then fine. But it’s not really okay to just to blind side someone with such personal questions.
sweetpeaify , intimate questions should only come from intimate friends, family, potential partners. Sometimes I feel that celebrities are playing reveal/conceal with the public, like transgender people coming out on social media, featured in magazines, etc, asking for privacy...I wouldn't press them about the exact significance of their sex status, whether they've had surgeries, or their sexual preferences, but they should expect that. In the end, it's best to leave them alone to live their lives without complicating ours with what to say and not to say.
+Nuuur! Exactly and I also came an abnormal family so I know how annoying it can be when people (especially complete strangers) ask very intimate questions.

My sister is adopted. Depending on where the child is from, you will see a LOT of racists people say really cruel things.
Lovely wish the best for you,
She is kind and intelligent. Enjoyed this.
Josephine is amazing honestly she is so smart and beautiful i love her plus her and alex are goals
SilvH23 they just got engaged!
Wow she's super nice, sweet and this is so good!!

A dude at my school has two moms... I respect that

No one has two moms. Telling a child this is a form of child abuse.

Alex Cameron cool my friend has gay people too.

Such an important video! Very well done
She grew up with gay parents you know she had a fun childhood.
I have two moms and whenever I tell someone they either say “Which one is your real mom?” or “So, you have a stepmom?” Kind of annoying
Poor, rejected coffee
One of my friends has two moms but used to get bullied a lot. She suffers from anxiety and I try to offer her as much support as possible.
She's so beautiful, and she seems so kind. My inspiration ❤️ily Jo
her English really isn't perfect but she's very passionate
her english is pretty good i find
She has an accent but her english is good, she's more well spoken than the majority of the American population.
elizabeth thats so true OmG. most Americans pride themselves in speaking English so "well" when in reality a majority of them wouldn't be able to talk like this bilingual girl did.
she has lived most of her life in denmark thats why
Sade Harry her English is perfect.. she's just bilingual. she grew up learning English as well as another one

Q can be described as someone who's "questioning," or, "queer"
Rulo it is a sin and is wrong.
o2xb Everyone's allowed to have their opinion
o2xb it's not a sin to be with the person you love. Love is about hearts not parts

They are so aggresive with other people (the parents) but they demand understanding, and calmness and tollerance.
