God, leave it to the haters to smear a man who has long since died. But I guess, depending on what party you belong to, some crimes can be forgotten. Right Trump supporters?!

He more than paid that debt. He had to raise his brother’s children, protect their widows, and carry on the legacy of JFK and RFK. Forgiveness is Devine..The way he lived the rest of his life would probably would’ve made Mary Jo contented…

@@deborahodum5665 To charge Kennedy with involuntary manslaughter, the police would have had to establish that he did something illegal, like speeding or driving under the influence. But Kennedy didn’t contact local police until 10 a.m. on the morning of July 19, after Kopechne’s body had been found in his submerged car in Poucha Pond.
Therefore, police were unable to test Kennedy’s blood alcohol level at the time of the accident, and they had no other evidence of illegal activity. In the end, Kennedy pled guilty to the charge of leaving the scene of the accident, and received a two-month jail sentence (which was suspended) and a temporary driving ban. In addition, Kennedy’s public perception was bolstered by the immediate damage control and legal efforts undertaken by a group of Kennedy confidantes and advisers, including ex-defense secretary Robert McNamara and JFK speechwriter Ted Sorensen.

@@teresaaguilarteresaaguilar1150 The only reason Ted Kennedy got so much attention in his scandal-ridden life was because he had two more popular brothers who were shot and killed. Had they lived, people today would be saying, "Ted who?" He spent his entire life not holding a single job in the private sector...not one! He was the most extreme liberal in the U.S. Senate and I literally hate all liberals...all of them. The U.S. government literally has zero money. It only gets its money by imposing taxes. And, Ted Kennedy never met a bad tax in his life. He really did more harm than good in this life. Study up on the real Ted Kennedy...not the one who was praised for being a so-called public servant. I could go on and on. But hopefully your question is answered. Thanks for asking.
