"can i someday finna find my time" is basically a misuse of AAVE. i didn't quite comprehend that line at first, and still don't, so your confusion is very understandable and relatable. i had been told once that, while in the united states we use it as a contraction of "fixing to," in korea "finna" is interpreted as a shortcut of "finally," so that makes sense ig, but i could have been told wrong. (also, anyone feel free to correct me). even then, i don't think jk is the one that wrote the lyrics and it is still, as said before, a misuse of AAVE. i love this song but that line always stresses me out no matter how many times i listen to it lol. another great reaction though! thank you mca and dj, much love!
