V has said that he named the album Layover as it it just a brief stop on a longer journey and it is an opportunity to explore who his is right now as an artist. He has always said he wanted to do a visual album with a storyline. The album is meant to be listened to in order and to tell a story. It is the various stages of a love story. V indicated that he saw an image(s) when he listened to each song and he then created a video for each song. So it starts with Rainy Days where he is reminiscing about and thinking about a past lover or someone he misses, then we go to love me again where he is missing and longing to get back with a past lover. The next song is Blue which melancholy and sad for a lost love. Slow Dancing is next where he reminisces about happier times and possibly last effort to get back together. It ends with For Us which is the acceptance that it’s over even though they still think about each other and miss each other. His live performances are so much better than the studio versions. You can really hear the growth in his singing especially when you listen to his old songs compared to the new album. He sounds good in all he live performances and his promotions are all around singing live with a jazz band. So so good.
I love how you couldn't stop vibing throughout the song. Despite the sombre theme and the heaviness the rhythm is just so amazing. And his voice is just so so beautiful

V put out an album of music he loves as opposed to mainstream stuff, he stayed true to himself & for music lovers his songs are timeless & can be listened to over & over again!! 💜💜

Actually, when I saw this music video for the first time, I was impressed by V's charisma and visual appeal, which is not only matched by his costumes and items, but also by his smooth, soft, and warm singing voice. It was wonderful. I love this channel because of the no-false, no-exaggeration delivery, and I've watched many reaction videos over and over again, but this is probably the first time I've commented on this one. Next year, all the BTS members will return from military service and reunite, and I can't wait to see what the future holds for them after their solo careers, each with their own different characteristics and abilities.
