Stories of the management scare me so much T_T It's ridiculous how talented their talents are and how little resources and help they are given to help them create and work on projects
3:50 yup exactly, not only are most ppl now getting back into their normal lives, the covid wave that made alot of pl work from home or even layed ppl off. which made alot more ppl browse utube and twitch in general. which made also alot more eyes then normal overall in the vtuber sphere in the first place. most ppl are now back into their busy shedules and are less able to attend livestreams. then we have the recent fair share of drama`s that also soured the pot a bit. and the lack of publicity overall also most likely hit on the viewer count.
I got into the vtubing scene typically Coco stuff around that time and was in highschool, now I'm in uni and busy as hell. Honestly missed the good ol days.
Well sure, but if that were the main reason you'd see viewership for other agency debuts also come down. But that hasn't noticeably occurred to Hololive, their main competition, and even if we exclude the outlier, it hasn't really happened to the smaller agencies. So while I get your point, it is hard to say an industry-wide effect is the primary cause when the rest of the industry isn't having that problem. Average viewership is certainly down across the board generally, but not with debuts specifically.
There's just one thing I want; a good Rosemi reupload channel. I miss watching her now and would love to again. I just can't on her channel due to opposition to the company.
I think the Nijisanji/Vtuber bubble has burst. Nijisanji in general was really trying to push its' advantage by dropping new waves, which at the time was a great strategy until you realise that once the covid induced vtuber boom ends, Nijisanji still has to maintain all the talents it recruited. I hate to compare people to material things, but in terms of business this move was the PR equivalent of buying a huge amount of stocks during the boom, then losing all of the value at Wall Street right after the market crash. Hololive also did what Nijisanji did, but to a much lesser degree. They were much more conservative to the point fans were even asking for a new Hololive EN generation. In hindsight, it was probably a calculated decision by Hololive's market analysts that held back the company from jumping rashly into pumping out waves like they absolutely could have.
niji put too much resources into pushing new waves and not into the infrastructure to maintain them up to the standard most people and especially new fans of niji expected of them for sure
Considering the horror stories from niji it's not surprising they are coming down. Corporations forget that their workers are what makes the company

@@RoyZenithPlus it's funny how true this is and how much worse things have gotten
