- The Vapormax has been a very controversial sneaker since it launched as a performance sneaker in 2017. Since then, it's been adjusted to fit a more lifestyle and streetwear or athleisure aesthetic. Along with those adjustments come some major changes to increase the step in comfort of the shoes for day to day use. In this video, Kayo Cosio goes over these changes and how it compares to his experiences with other Nike Air Vapormax silhouettes over the years.

I'm part of the vapoemax cult following, so I was shocked when I finally got this on-foot. had to understand what had been done to improve it.
Nike finally got em right most comfortable pair to date triple black of course

Do they squeak or make noise? Really want a pair but im ordering online so i wont get to try first
it depends on the floor, but yesterday do squeak in the beginning especially on tile
is it true that sizing changed in the 2021 model? Other people on YT say to size down. However, I usually go TTS on these past years.
Yes, this is an entirely new last (shape of foot that they build the shoe on.) But I would say that they corrected the previous models in the series which tended to be too narrow and required most to go up half a size. I think that this is True To Size now, post the adjustment.
I got two pairs 2021 FK and FK SE. I also have a pair in 2019 FK.
I'm wearing them today. Such a great go-to shoe cos of the elevated comfort.

Hi I have a question. I just tried on these shoes (got them for 100€) and they feel on my upper foot ( where the laces are) a bit too tight. Do you think the shoes will stretch enough ?
I have wide feed and going up half a size means I have to pay 100€ more 😅
Apart from that , I have enough space in the toe box area and the heels are also comfortable
it will probably not loosen an entire half size up.

through normal use? No. It's designed for distance running. Of course, if you subject it to unusual stress, like running on sharp things or if you lower your foot to slow down your bicycle, you can probably expect it to fail at some point.

yes. the vapormax is originally designed as a performance running shoe, and it will still work as such.

Why mine that I bought says Made in china. Does that mean they are fake?
No, it does not. Most are still assembled in Vietnam or China, but the air units themselves are first made in America (as a part) then moved to Asia where the rest of the sneaker is made and finished.

@@HoneycombManila And the bubbles (the system itself) when I squeeze it with my hand is not so mega, but it may be because I did not wear them, maybe after a while the system, the bubbles themselves will become softer

I went .5 up and fit comfortably
True to size now that it's on the new last
@@evb2065 if you wear thick socks, better to up 0.5 size as the toe box is a tad narrow compared to Adidas. The length is however true to size.

true to size. They changed the shape in recent models and while it used to be slightly narrow, that's not the case anymore.
