Thanks Mechtrician - if I can go back in my Time Machine, a trip to a driveline shop and a custom driveshaft - and have someone look at pinion angles - would have served me well. As stated before, my small dream is to have my car worthy of a hot summer trip up the Grapevine - and thrive. Lol!

You may be interested to know for my six I bought upper control arms and adjustable strut rods from SPC performance that have the Shelby drop built in like you described but they actually raised the vehicle about an inch (factory springs) - mine sits almost exactly like yours positive caster close to the fender and all. But I have the 4 lug 14 inch wheels and P195 75R14 for my grocery-getter! I'll send you a pic sometime.

I did an 8.8 swap and I regret it. I wish I would have gone the nine inch route it just would have been so much easier and faster but it works.

Looks great but can’t you compensate for the angle of the t5 by just adjusting the leaf spring perches on the axle? Maybe you used the shims because you didn’t want to cut and reweld the brackets? Regardless looks good.
