One of my all time favorite engines. What you have is a gem as it is still new. I have one of each, an 91 Surpass & a 91 Surpass II. My 91 Surpass, however, does not have a choke plate. A couple of years ago I followed one of your instructional videos to replace the bearings on both. One of these days they'll be flying again.
Surpass 91 maybe the most reliable and longer lasting engine some of us ever had, used to fly in a 1/4 scale piper cub kit from Carl Goldberg or in a 81in cub ARF from great planes with pontoons.
That engine is such a pristine example that it's really hard to know how to proceed with it. But I have to say that an Astro Hog build would be interesting to watch. Wink wink.😁 Once again your back ground is so beautiful that I found it hard to focus on the vid.
I've recently got the Magnum 91 four stroke new in box cause I couldn't find a new OS 91 for a escapade 61? What do you think about this combination? Is it enough engine for that plane?
Thanks Dave for another great video. The best part of spring was to see what kits came to life during the Wisconsin winters.

those were great runners, i had a few of them. still have a 80s one left.
Nice fine David,
I've got the regular Astro hog framed up but I still have to finish and cover it! I'm using the old coverite fabric on it!

Very nice, Dave
Another great video, I feel like they are comin faster now, can’t wait to see the next one keep up the great work !
I might be mistaken, but I believe this is the best selling 4s engine of all time.
How would you ever know that for sure unless you saw sales numbers?
Nice!
Love your new series, i wanted to ask what knowledge you may have of an OPS 30maxi. I have one but lack any information on setting up the carb?
A carb is a carb. I have a video titled how to set up a carb. Have you seen it or tried it?

Obviously any 90 size four stroke will replace a 61 two stroke. Too bad it is a Magnum though...
