You might like the Maha jumper which has more of a sweetheart neckline and is a merino cotton blend. It’s great if you are bustier. The Hannah bodysuit is a v neck but it’s not too low and it is also a merino cotton blend.
While I don’t recall using the term matronly and I definitely do not shop only for ‘sex appeal’ - I do have to agree with you that I am not the target audience :) Ive been on a mission to find high quality clothing at reasonable prices and since Sézane fits the criteria I wanted to give them a try! When I’m spending so much on a garment I think it’s fair to be picky. Thank you for watching and taking the time to leave a comment ❤️
why they keep making everything so boxy and shapeless? Makes me mad every time! it is very hard to find something formfitting of decent quality and price!
Yes they are boxy and shapeless. It’s meant to fit a certain body type so not very inclusive. I can only wear their jumpers or their shirt skirts as I’m petite. (The short skirts aren’t that short on me). Otherwise trousers, longer dresses and shirts are too long and overwhelming on a smaller frame. The body shape they had in mind is the French woman body stereotype - tall, thin and not much of shape. They seem to do that for a lot of French brands as well(soeur , rouje, Claudie pierlot, Sandro, Maje etc).
Thank you for the very honest reviews---good points

I appreciate you breaking down the fit, material, construction. Expensive or not I want to love the items.
Sadly high price doesn't always mean high quality AND great fit :/
Thanks so much for watching!
The colour on the Maurice jumper looks soooo nice on you 😍
Thank you cutie :)
Great reviews! What is your height?
Thank you! :) I am 5'5
Goodness, everything looked great on you, you just seem like you want a tight t-shirt with tight jeans.
Ah thank you for the compliment and for watching :)
I am incredibly picky with my clothes for sure!
You kept referring to "boxy", and called some items matronly. its possible, as you were looking for sex appeal, you are not the target clientele. .
