SHHHHH DONT LEAK THE SAUCE SO SOONNNNNN (keeping the price low for release 😀) but yeah you’re right one of the best deck that’s coming out in my opinion 🥰
Stoked to see some hydrei lists with dusknoir. I felt like they would be a great pair together. But havent seen any example lists until now. Sweet vid!
This kind of deck is perfect for me who is looking for a deck that might not be meta but can take wins, also what draw engine would you run past rotation? Im new to pokemon and want to buy a deck thats going to last
There's only the one build that uses bibarel and as mentioned in the video you could swap that to Pidgeot if wanting to use that specific version or just adapt to one of the other lists. The other option would just be changing bibarel out for revaroom, but as we lose Dark Patch to rotation too discarding lots of energy may not be the best call 😅 Dundunsparce could be worth testing, or just adding more draw supporters as you already have fezendipiti so just increasing the odds of straight up drawing into supporters works too. There's also a whole other set we've yet to see that will be in rotation when the change occurs so likely more options to come.
@@TripleBtcg awesome thank you for getting back to me :) Looking forward to seeing how it all changes and looking to start going locally in the new year :)
No worries bud you took time out of your day to write me a message the least I can do is return the same respect to you ❤️ Also an early welcome to the community for you! 🎉 Have you been trying the game online already or playing some matches at home with family/friends? 😀
The issue with Hydrapple was you needed to get multiple set up and have high counts of energy typically meaning less consistent cards and relying heavily on Ogerpon as your support pokemon. Hydreigon has a bit more flexibility in that area and honestly seems like a solid contender for a tier 1 to 1.5 deck in my opinion. Only time will tell, could end up being mid like you say but the combos it can pull off are pretty crazy and potentially milling key cards from your opponent is a pretty solid hail Mary play while also taking KO's!
Pult does 200 to the active and 6 counters which doesn't take put pre evos without extra steps and is having to two shot your active. Hydregion does 200 and disrupts their board then can KO the pult and two pre evos the following turn or ideally go first and use obsidian turn two taking out their dreepys. Dragapult isn't a threat for this deck, if anything it's the other way around
It would be turn 3 you could take 4 theoretically. Turn one you bench, your second turn evolve to hydreion and attack the active for 200, your third turn obsidian for 4 potentially. Obsidian by turn 2 shouldn't be hard to pull off though as there's multiple lines to get there. T1 you get the attachment, turn two you just need Neo upper and an energy accelerator either dark patch, crispin/janine, or if you use the dusknoir build use that to go behind on prizes and attach counter gain. Realistically I don't see it being hard to pull off. The only risk is if you prize neo upper but then you just need two energy accelerators so dark patch + supporter or one of those + dusknoir and counter gain.
If you're talking about including multiple roaring Moons please be mindful where you're putting the S. This is a game meant for kids and language like that shouldn't be used, going to view this as an unintended typo . . . Roaring moon could definetly be a great inclusion! Frenzied gouging would be great to take down big threats, potentially donk players, and to close out games! Ceruledge I'm not to sure I see the logic for as you don't have that many energy in the deck.
@@TripleBtcg sorry about that had to fix that typo. I gotta double read after speed typing. With the new ex in January the meta might change drastically before rotation.
Currently just theory crafting so far. I'd be leaning towards the second build with pidgeot as my first choice but the dusknoir variant with Bib is also very strong thanks to Dusknoir and the late game iono/Roxanne recovery from Bibarel is solid.
I noticed that all the decks that you posted on X aren't using tera orb. Why is that so? For me its a broken card that can replace 1 ou 2 ultras in every single list
It's a great card but more limited in targets, it's the same logic for using feather ball in decks with pidgeot. Yes it can be high value as you don't need to discard resources but there will be times your find it and wish it could target something else. I don't mind the idea of having it as a one off copy in decks and can be easily slotted out, but for consistency unless a deck already has 4 ultraball and nestball I'm hesitant to include it
It's worth testing. Personally I've never liked stage 2s with Lost Zone packages as both lines are quite hungry for Deck space. It doesn't mean it wouldn't work though so if you're keen to give it a go I'd love to hear how it goes for you in testing!
@@TripleBtcg It's simply because I can see a clear sinergy between Hydreigon and Sableye, more than Dragapult, since the damage output by Hydreigon is fairly bigger (260 pult vs. 390 dreigon)
That's definitely a benefit and worth testing. Neo upper covers two energy types though and can be combined with counter gain to pay for 3 energy then just attaching the previous turn or dark patch/crispin/janine youre good to go. If you use crystal you need to get 3 energy on it somehow instead. Personally I think neo upper provides a faster method of charging it up and for the builds where you're only running dark energy and neo upper it makes more sense. Definetly worth testing both though to see which better fits your playstyle 😀

Seems like a pretty scary combo!
Surprised to hear nobody else has cooked it up yet!
Honestly I was thinking of includinf Durant Ex and 4 x Tsuros to mill opponents but I think that might be too cute
Like you can try it if you want.
That's a lot of deck space to give up though, but if you want to go all in on Mill it's worth testing.

Radiant greninja for more draws and night stretcher for recovery maybe? :)
Both are solid cards!
Which build are you reffering to and what're you cutting to make space? 🤔
My favorite, not sure if it could climb it ways to meta or being just mid? stay along with hydrapple ex. It already win 1st at some japanese locals

Adding it to the list! 🔥
Do you think Hydragon will be better in a Regidrago deck?
It's not a dragon type, so no.
Or are you cooking some very different idea using regudragos Vstar power to help setup?
@@TripleBtcg No. I was just wondering if there was a way to use him in that deck.
Well you could use it is a 1-1 line for the vstar power. Not saying it would be good but you could technically do it.
Could Ceruledge ex and Roaring Moon ex be used in this deck?
