I absolutely love mods on most games. Just showcases player talents and creativity and it's special when you find that perfect mod that basically turns a game into something even more special than it already is.
I played through this game about a year ago and it was so fun and memorable. Can't believe they never made a sequel.
sales were poor
Sadly the sales were poor and a lot of people didn’t like the gunplay combat and just really tanked the game at launch. The aspect of aiming the reticle a few inches over to her off a proper shot plus a feel a few other mechanics in the game there a lot of people off from the game. It took me a while to get into it because of the gun combat but once I did I fell in love with this game

The most overlooked game in the history of gaming. This game deserves a sequel and a total remake of the first Day's Gone with true 4k visual update and even better A.I. I love this game and it will always have a special place in my heart.
People giving it this much credit make me straight up hate it even though i had a lot of fun w it lol…dude its just a solid game nothing more or less

this is not the only game that has such history. it's just one of those game which came at a wrong time. we have shit ton of zombie games already and people were tired of it.
It definitely wasn't overlooked, people played it and the game disappointed.

@@CusterPlays Great visuals and good gameplay but bad story and one of the worst questing/mission system though, for example when you go mission on the same map its snowing then another mission on same map its not snowing anymore, also one mission this person is dead then this other mission this person is alive. Also the walking gf simulator flash back mission/story is bad.

@@sunnytagbo9598 i dont care about the generalization of games. im speaking about this game in particular. it was wrongfully scrutinized since its launch when it was a PS exclusive and because its a singleplayer game, it was played and tossed aside immediately. it being multiplayer would give it a great chance to stand up next to the "DayZ"s or the "tarkov"s . plus with its beautiful story, it would actually make sense narratively speaking

The initial cave game play is *chefs kiss* the wet slaps of the shots was perfect when paired with the blinding flashes of the shots , so good!

I think the flashlights on the enemies should stay on. It would add to the feel of the game. Especially in those tunnels. You have that effect bouncing off walls and adding illumination to the surroundings.
Exactly. they should remain on and not just for visual purposes. It makes no physical sense for flashlights to die with their operators. I mean it would've been acceptable for a Splinter Cell game in the 2000s, except we're not in the 2000s...
I’ve been enjoying the mods myself too and making videos on these, really wished days gone will get a sequel!
man, i love how great this game can look with ReShade. it's by far one of the easier games to make something good looking or just overhaul the entire thing to fit a certain vibe.
I think this game would have gotten more support at launch if they had added a few more things like different costumes and better weather changes

Why do you think people mod it? Because of that, we DON'T have a sequel and will not. Now why don't you go do some actual research instead of your tough guy two word responses with no facts.

We need to bring more light to this game so the developers could see how much of a great game we think this is I will be very sad if we never get a 2nd, at first the game does start out pretty slow and boring and because of that i actaully stopped playing it for awhile and started regretting that i bought it, but once you get to like 1/4 of the way through its amazing and the story is just perfect, now, I love this game
I really like the modded outfits. My two favorites are the Hunk and Daryl skins.
I really wanted to use the Hunk more often but those pouches are pretty cursed ahah

Just playing this game now for the 1st time. Really enjoying it. And that's right after playing RDR2 for the first time right before I played it.

Is there any mod that puts an Item Chest and its safe zones to store weapons and other resources and supplies that you collect during the game? because it's kind of annoying to lose your old weapons when you buy a new one and the supplies aren't purchasable nor can they be carried in bulk in your item bag.

The more mods are created, the more possibilities of modding can happen, the more things modders learn how to do. Give it some time, and I bet new types of zombies will be added!
It looks like when animation is done more precisely than eye can see, then it looks natural.

I have never used a mod on any game .
So if I use these mods would it ruin my experience.

Unfortunately I can't get the game to run. It loads up the main menu but it's a black screen. I have sound but nothing else.
Nice .. I have troubless to install mods though .. Renamed sfpaks in game installation Content folder. Created Paks folder in Appadata/Local/Bendgame/Saved folder and placed my mod paks over there. Started new game and nothing .. any help please?
Hey, I downloaded all your mods because I loved your Days Gone videos. But one thing doesn't work for me, but it works for you.
If I download the Honey Badger Remaster 1.0 (Weapon) mod everything works, if I download the Rock Chuck Evolved (Bigger Mag) mod everything works too, but if I take both together, only the Rock Chuck Evolved mod works and no longer the Honey Badger Remaster 1.0 mod. How did you manage to get both to work together ?
I would be really happy if you or someone who has a solution for this could help me.

this should have been the gameplay demo, and you should have been the narrator at E3 when this game was announced. so sad, it didn't happen. i guess i can prettend this is the e3 demo . so i can say this demo and technical showcase looks good. + that gun and the one shots where insane, someone shooting like that must have been playing day's gone for 100 hours max

Ahahah yeah, cuz my spawns are modded. For example, its very rare to find a single screamer. They just spawn 3 at the time. I was thinking the same was hapenning in that case @@TommyGun1433

Hey There Custer, Trying not to be a pain but how do you get to having only 1 firearm on your back, instead of 3 for example the specials etc, I would also like to only carry one AR on my back, a Reply would be much appreciated!
I use the debug menu mod to remove player weapons, i think its under mission. Then i just equip only 1 ar and a pistol. Hope that helps!
