Great video! Hidden gems in here like file permissions and multi chat limits that help make the decision. For me, part of it is also investment. Channels are very organized, scalable, long term, etc. But they can feel unfamiliar. It's tempting to just make a group chat and be done with it. But pushing through the initial discomfort will quickly pay off in topical, organized conversations that can be linked back to.
Thanks Lars! It's definitely one of those things that is easier to start with the principles from the beginning instead of trying to convert later.

Thanks Matt, it was very useful and convinced me to use Teams>Channels. However, the only feature missing on the Channels is that pop-out notification that may alert people on the team, I guess that would encourage more people to use Channels.
Glad it was helpful! The assumption on Channels is you need to be purposeful about what things you want to be notified on. You can configure your overall notification settings for Channels by going to Activity -> Settings Gear -> Teams and Channels. There are also a bunch of other notification settings in this section. You can change those settings one specific channels by going to a specific channel selecting the ellipsis -> Channel Notifications.
