The sensors work on my Camry 2012. Sometime I get zero reading on all four tires and other times all four show on screen. Is there a way to tighten connection into dash?
@@the5lex by the way sensor battery was giving enough Jude on and off that’s what caused the TPMS alight on and off bust set ur pressure to correct amount drive it around if light goes off then u may have flat nail puncher if ur come back again double check to see if any tire went low on pressure before scanning the sensors
Will i be able to program a sensor i bought from Toyota dealer for my 2013 Camry ? i went to couple of tire dealers ,they said they cannot program sensors bought from dealer. Please comment. Thanks
Should I pay $800 for all 4 sensors to be replaced? Asked the dealership for a quote and that’s what they requested I pay. I feel like that’s way too much
For anybody wondering how expensive these are - they ARENT. Discount tire is honestly the place to go if you can’t do it yourself. It’s about $250 for all four sensors on my Camry. Every car may be a little different but they should NOT be that expensive. They cost $192 bucks at autozone for my car
I got the sensors on my 2013 Camry replaced but now my flashing light won't turn off. They said they can scan the new sensors but they can't figure out what's going on. Could they have been programmed wrong (or not at all)? If not then do you know what the issue might be?
@@RBTheMechanic The TPMS tester is getting the signal but my computer is basically saying everything is dead. I checked the TPMS fuse and it was fine. I'm not having any issues with anything else. It's just the TPMS light flashing. I took it to two different locations and the second guy said he has never seen this.
@@ZF-go3dk u have to scan for codes in TPMS moduel also flashing TPMS means there is sensor that bad or low on battery some times ur scan tool will pick up the sensor is working but the battery in the sensor is either low or sending out weak sifi Al that dosent reach the TPMS antennas but ur scan tool since ur checking right by tire will pick up the siginal and show u working sensor also check to see if the tire sensor ID match and is same IDs inside the moduel
There is no tire pressure reset on this car u have to fill the tires to correct pressure all of them and then drive around the block it will reset however if there is issue it will not reset then u need to test the sensor in the tire
@@RBTheMechanic This morning, they used three separate programmers to valudate. The third one sent the reset command, and the light went off immediately. So all that pain could have been avoided if they used the Toyota tool from the dealership (being a Toyota dealer, you'd think that's what they'd use!)
If I buy take off rims and tires from a newer Toyota Camry and they already have all four sensors do I need to reprogram those sensors to my car?
Yes they need to be programmed
Does the 2006 toyota solara sle have TPMS sensors in it?
I don’t think so they didn’t have them that erly
So what about the new sensor I'd when the new one gives out do you use the id from the new sensor or write down the old if for future programing
New sensor new id ? Didn’t understand the id I use is old from old sensor

How do you know which number on the back of the sensor is the id number, some sensors have 2 or 3 numbers printed on the back of them?
It’s only 1 main number there
Excellent video thanks!!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Whats a good website to but pre programmed tire sensors for a Toyota Camry 2011?
No preprogram it’s need to be programmed with id in the TPMS moduel
I just bought Marsflex off Amazon and entered all 4 unique IDs with an Autel DS708

Nope only dealer can program those unless ur scan tool can reprogram the code inside the TPMS modue

Right. $35 each (some are less!) on Amazon. Hold my beer. If Only I had a similar scam I'd buy a boat and a beach house with the profits...

U can get these done from ur local mechanic shop for about $115-130 each
