Demolition Ceremony for Former Riviera Beach Police Department

On May 7th, 2024, past and present employees of the Riviera Beach Police Department, along with city officials, gathered to bid farewell to the old police station at 600 W. Blue Heron Blvd. The event marked the end of an era for the aging building, which had served the city for decades. With fond memories and heartfelt goodbyes, the attendees acknowledged the station's role in keeping the community safe. Now, the city will proceed with the demolition process, paving the way for a new state-of-the-art police station that promises to offer enhanced facilities and capabilities for future generations of officers and citizens alike.
