I moved to Colombia 🇨🇴 Leaving the US has truly allowed me to follow my dreams. Like I’m really taking action and execution to achieve what’s on my Vision Board. So I guess this Black woman found the American dream outside of North America. I do recognize my privilege and will respect my new Country. 🌱
"Black families and Black children are under attack, giving Black men time to heal" this is so true and it's deep!! This is video really touched me, you used very strong words sis. I have always said the reason many of Black men (meaning our fore-fathers or grand fathers towards their families was because of the apartheid system and how they were also abused and ill treated by white men I speak specifically about black south african men. Apartheid did a lot damage on Black families. As you wisely said Ashley it's we really need to support our Black men and allow the older generation time to heal and retore the dignity of Black families 👪. Thank you for your inspiring words and great video ❤
Just loving watching and hear your perceptions. There is soo much potential for our black sisters to allow themselves to be their best self and be part of being part of helping to heal and restore the the family structure in SA that was caused by the evils of Apartheid. I just admire black strong women from the USA that is busy seeing things for what they are back home. You will have some white sisters as well that will also welcome you with open arms. 🤗
Wisely stated sister. The concept of success as a unity of the Black family has deep Afrikan roots and I know that once Black men in america come into consciousness about this the regime of white rule over the Black family will come to an end. We are so glad you are elevating and growing under the sun, wherever you are. Tell P and Z we said “Tunawapenda Sana!” Love you guys!
Wow bold moves by these Sisters! It takes courage to make such life-altering decisions, much respect to you. Ashley, you definitely sound like you understand the assignment :) I am in Durban South Africa, I would love to hear you speak maybe at events or stuff like that.
Just came across your channel. Your explanation of why we are leaving is on point!!! Your video on SA was great. I plan to visit there real soon because of you and Julian's vlog

Hi Ashley. Hats off to all you Black African women wherever you live. In South Africa, I'd have to say that the black African women ( we also have black Indian and black Coloured people🤣🤣, confusing, I know) are the most disadvantaged of all people here but in my opinion, they can work anybody under the table and still handle a family. They are strong and determined women and I wish them everything of the best Always.✌🇿🇦
Keep posting about South Africa and watch your views and subscriptions grow, hahaha❤✊. The diaspora is sleeping on S.A, i don't get it. everyone wanna move to West Africa only.
There are so many misconceptions and false narratives being shared bout SA. I'll do my best to share my love of South Africa and hope it creates a shift. Thank you for sharing this.

You are absolutely right sister Ashley, I wish our AA men would wake up and find you on the continent. I saw your fist interview, you are a brave woman and your success is on the continent. May God bless you, keep it going sis🙏🏿

This is a wonderful message. I'm going at it in a slightly different way though. I'm no longer caping for anyone but black women. I've decided to divest and date the best man for me. It has been so psychologically healing 2 throw off the cape and stop being the guard dog for every other type of people including black men if I'm being honest.

Curious..No acknowledgements, accountability or apologies for the black women roles and/or assistance, towards the purposeful destruction of the black man?? Allowing us to heal!? When it was a very large percentage of black women that willingly assisted in the damage and destruction of the black man. Curious..whom is your current partner, and more importantly what is his cultural origin!?? Also keeping what system going!??
Lovely. In Africa, women have always been the head of the family. She held it together and we were successful because of that. We're doing poorly now because we've been induced away from that. Your children are thriving because you're there as a mom. Men traditionally played a (no less important) supportive role. Only on national issues did men take a lead. And this was on a very limited part-time bases. Today, though, these roles have been woefully conflated.
