I once had a medical abortion (non-surgical) at the clinic and was informed of the opportunity for stronger pain medications after my procedure. It was unbelievably agonizing. A year later, I got an IUD, and as a routine step, the doctor used lidocaine spray on my cervix and advised me to take 800 mg of ibuprofen and 1000 mg of paracetamol beforehand, and I didn’t feel a thing. I have never heard of anyone having a similar experience as me. I was almost throwing up prior to my appointment because of the fear of excruciating pain.
Laminaria are used to dilate the cervix because they absorb moisture and expand. It’s made from seaweed.

They might be great producers but I don't like the back and forth with them at all. It distracts and detracts. If it became a regular thing or increased I wouldn't be able to watch anymore.
the producers might as well sit on the couch at this point. they chime in more and more every episode. if they were meant to be involved in the convo more, it didnt help that they were never introduced properly when the change from carlos happened, so to viewers it comes across that theyre comin in wayyy too hot for "strangers" to pod

I found out I had HPV and had to get two LEEP procedures (removal of the abnormal cells and then cauterizing you). My doctor for the second one informed me that it’s absolutely not normal to be awake during the procedure and my second one I was out cold. 😅
During my second is when they discovered I had cervical cancer. A month later I got a radical hysterectomy🫠

Herpies tests can so commonly be false positives that they don't test UNLESS there have been symptoms, or if someone demands it specifically. And on that second point, even then, some doctors won't order it. Happened to me.

To answer Julian's question: vasectomies don't hurt. For mine I was put under, "twilight anesthesia" as it was explained to me. Got some IV drugs beforehand, woke up taking off my mask and I had to wear a jock strap for 3 days while I was healing. No recollection of the procedure and just some tramadol for healing.
I had the same experience when I got mine when I was 25. I'm 49 now and I do not regret it for one second.
It seems to vary a lot. I wasn't put under, but it was virtually painless. I only took one vicoden a few hours later and didn't even take ibuprofen after that. I felt normal the next day. I know a GI in the army who got one there, and it was extremely painful and was stuck in pain for a couple weeks.
Imagine saying I suffer from this.... A serious condition.. then saying I think 💬... WTF HOW
Omg believing in women’s pain is such a giant problem.!!! I have excruciating endometriosis and I get treated like a drug seaker if I even ash for a Muscle relaxant. My insurance MADE me get an IUD to prove if it would help or not. Worst months of my life. They FINALLY let me have surgery. I loath the medical system.

10:40 actually with freediving, the bends can NEVER happen...nor can lung rupture. Lung rupture is far more dangerous for scuba divers who panic, hold their breath and ascent...the lung expands and pops. Freediving has neither risk because you take the breath at the surface and your lungs contract then expand to the same volume when you took the breath as you dive.

I opted no drugs at planned parenthood and it was one of the worst experiences of my life 😢and I’ve had some rough experiences
They didn’t tell me not to eat before my appt so I wasn’t allowed to have any drugs. I was the only person there who wasn’t getting hooked up to an IV. Most pain of my life. They had a tray next to me in case I threw up from the pain.
@@cultofscientology damn dude I feel you. I opted out bc the drugs they offered were drugs I had done in the past recreationally like Valium. And I didn’t wanna be all out of it AND having the worst time. If they woulda offered to put me under or an actual pain killer I would have said yes. I was literally uncontrollably hyperventilating/crying. NEVER had that happen to me before or since. There was a nurse was standing at my side holding my hand staring at me. I still remember the look on her face.

The doctor was really good at “counting down” the pain but nothing helps when it’s at that level. And I also had the nurse holding my hand looking at me with pity. Ugh. I hope neither of us have to go through that again.

I DID pass out on the table during my Colposcopy/punch biopsy. Even the description online says, "it should be uncomfortable, not painful." BULLSHIT. I've had a hundred hours of tattoos, piercings, and other painful medical procedures. This was by far the worst pain.
