My 2019 Chevrolet Trax LT, is perfect for me in the Suburbs of Philadelphia! Enough power, and room with AWD for the Northeast winters. A great vehicle! 👍🏻
Watching this in 2024, and I own the red version of this very make and model. It continues to do many things quite well. Assembled to specifications in Korea, its build quality is quite precise. The newest Trax has enlarged to a different size class than when this was introduced.
I have one of the rare ones that came to the U.K. in right hand drive. Brilliant car. Was really disappointed when GM decided to withdraw Chevrolet from the U.K.
I bought one of these a few months ago, and I am very pleased with it! I drive it on the highway every day, and it has plenty of power. I didn't like having to buy the top of the line to get heated seats, but I love it anyway.
Hollywood Charity Auction NO, they WILL fit ... BUT if you are carrying a lot of stuff like groceries, or traveling with suitcases, or when children grow & have their stuff like play equipment .... it can get a little stuffy - for the couple *plus* children. PS: _in fairness, all vehicles in this class (small crossover), like VV Tiguan or Subaru Crosstrek or Mitsubishi RVR, have same internal space_
With all the so called 'compact' SUVs getting larger in size, there is a trend of sub-compact SUVs in the market which makes total sense for urban driving. The Mitsubishi RVR is another vehicle that is similar in size.
You shouldn't be comparing an Audi to a Chevrolet...the reviewer already pointed out that this is an entry level/low cost vehicle. Most people shopping around/looking at this car would not be able to afford an Audi...
Nice entry level vehicle. Kinda cheap looking interior, but I can't imagine anyone not opting for air conditioning meaning the base price is actually higher.
I do too! Last I knew, Isuzu was the last manufacturer to say "if you buy the base model, you do not get a key fob" which I think it just a standard thing anymore.
I have a 2013 trax lt..when it got very cold out all my dash lights came on and the car stayed running but wouldnt go anywhere..floor it and nothing.Also..the heater when you start it and its idling, wont get warm..it gets to room temp, even after 30 mins of running and wont get warm until you start drivng..is this a problem with all of them or just some?small aluminum 4cyl needs to move to get warm??or water pump problem??any advice??anyone?other than thats its fine, mine is a front wheel drive, better gas mileage and with winter tires goes well..also beware the tires and rim sizes are new so you are forced to get them from Chev..no cheap rims or tires from salvage..bummer there..Eldon
Great review Zack...but why does Chevy have to put that cheap plastichrome in the interior...really cheapens the look of the vehicle. And no manual w/ AWD? Subaru wins. I know, very few people choose the manual anyway but I do...but that's a rant for a different time. Later.
[Insert sarcasm here for this idle rant I was bored enough to write] As he says at 6:24 of course all women will like this vehicle! It's just so small and cute! Petite, if you will. Like the ideal woman. And it will make us smitten because it has many of the same qualities as the men we sometimes date. Think about it ladies! Like some men, the Trax may be rough around the edges, but if we invest a little more in it we can upgrade some of the features! Like some men, it's lacking in qualities that seem like they should be basic, and not a luxury- like gentlemanly behavior, air conditioning should always come standard. And yes, this car is even cheap like some men. Besides making us smitten with it's hopeless bachelor-like charm, the Trax will appeal to us because (as all women know too well) estrogen has the mysterious side affect of making it extremely difficult to drive a large, powerful vehicle. And get this, the seats come in real pleather- who could resist? Let's face it ladies, we all know that as women we often have to settle for second best: pleather instead of leather; non-fat instead of deliciousness; fashion instead of comfort... The Trax is the car for women! [Sarcasm over] I know this is an entry level SUV, and honestly I don't hate the car. Seems smart for urban drivers. I would simply prefer if the guy in the video stuck to advertising it as a city SUV, and left out the sexist opinion.
It's unfair to compare fully loaded since it is a *much* nicer car than this and has way more features. The GS with Nav that I compared still likely has way more features than this Daewoo crap box, not to mention more reliable, nicer looking, better handling, etc. and that only works out to $1 or $2k more, even if you include tax.
Fully loaded at 29k? LOL that's the same price as a Mazda CX5, Toyota Rav4, and Honda CRV. I'm going to have to really try hard not to laugh at the first person I see driving this thing around.
Someone please explain to me how this is an S.U.V. I am truly asking It seats less people than a car, and is labelled to seat more (S.U.V.s carry 7 or more) Please, an explanation of this vehicle's type being an S.U.V. please
***** I agree with you completely. BUT, the en-tire point of an S.U.V. is to seat the same amount if not more people than a car, but be nimble like a truck. This piece of junk, is in no way an S.U.V. It's a pussy cross-over at its best
It's a Crossover vehicle rather than an SUV. A crossover vehicle is a category that's in-between a hatchback and an SUV. Larger and taller than a hatchback, smaller than a full-pledged SUV.
rafarga1980 I know But the dumb fucks at G.M. and everywhere else are calling it, the Traverse, Equinox, Encore, Enclave, Torrent, Escape, Explorer, and everything else S.U.V.s And they are not
I thought this mini suv was towards the younger people and not towards the women market. I want a new car and have a fixed budget and don't want a car that gm made towards women.
This car is very poorly made. The exterior design is decades old. The headlamps look as though they were taken off of a Dodge Caliber. The interior is just plasticky, boring and cramped looking.
Lol the top model LTZ comes with 'pleather' and yet it's $27,000 that's a big rip off. It's $7,000 more than the LS because of its fake leather seats and $1200 moonroof pbbhtttttt. I see a lot of these just sitting on the lot because they are too overpriced for the actually quality. I did enjoy driving a rental one they, very smooth and comfortable but gas mileage was crap and acceleration a joke. Took like 2 secs for the engine to respond when I was pressing on the gas. But it does have plenty of room and visibility. I wouldn't invest in one though Chevy has a high depreciation, nor would I buy new it's a rip off. Get the Honda HRV and at least you'll be able to sell it for a reasonable price when you are ready to sell it.
that's the ugliest Chevy I have ever seen. Right up there with the Aztek..Aside fron the Camaro and the recently restyled Impala. Today's GMs and modern compacts. SUVs and midsize cars in general are downright UGLY !! If it doesnt resemble a modern day Studebaker Lark. Then it looks like a trilobite.

BEST Crossover for the Single person or a Couple without children
Why without children? Won't carseats fit in the back?
Hollywood Charity Auction
NO, they WILL fit ...

Thanks for the clarification.

That's quite the Daewoo Trax. A jacked up Daewoo Aveo. Excellent idea.
Nice entry level vehicle. Kinda cheap looking interior, but I can't imagine anyone not opting for air conditioning meaning the base price is actually higher.
I find it funny that you still have cars that don't come with Air Conditioning
I do too!
Last I knew, Isuzu was the last manufacturer to say "if you buy the base model, you do not get a key fob" which I think it just a standard thing anymore.
Yeah it's a bit ridiculous it should be standard nowadays
I have a 2013 grad basemodel with ac
When will it launch in India ?
Is it me or the Wipers were really loud?
¿Qué distancia hay entre el techo y el asiento trasero, para una persona alta?
Fixed. Thanks...
You won't get a fully loaded RAV4, CR-V or CX-5 for $29,000.
$33,250 for a fully loaded CX-5 in Canada...
Is this car has automatic pilot ? Thx

Is there something wrong with it?
Excellent review.
love it
Is this consider big car

A nearly fully loaded Mazda CX5 GS, with Nav is $28 650 sans tax...
y is airconditioning not standard ? that's just fucked up
Fully loaded at 29k? LOL that's the same price as a Mazda CX5, Toyota Rav4, and Honda CRV. I'm going to have to really try hard not to laugh at the first person I see driving this thing around.
£28,195 in Britain for the cx-5 and £20,495 for the top of the range trax. just saying
Someone please explain to me how this is an S.U.V.

ImperialRadioYT Branding a crossover as an SUV is a way for car companies' to attract the uninformed consumer to purchase their vehicles.
rafarga1980 whatever
They ain't callin a van a truck just to get sales from working men
This isn't an S.U.V. and anyone who thinks it is is re-tarded
In moldova 17,000 euros or 23,000 dollars...
I thought this mini suv was towards the younger people and not towards the women market. I want a new car and have a fixed budget and don't want a car that gm made towards women.
i dont see a cd player
IN COLOMBIA $33,000
Cheapo Encore.
Is it me, or does the Trax look like the Pontiac Aztec? Shudders.
It looks like a baby version of the Chevrolet Equinox
Say smitten one more time. I dare you.
Клон Opel - Mokka
As someone who works on cars don't get this
Reasons?
NO BRAZIL $ 35,000
I wouldn't buy this SUV for all the tea in China. It is too small and underpowered.
Video quality is terrible ! 21 CENTURY
