Totally agree. They are so technically perfect nowadays but sooooo boring in their careful routines. This guy totally understands performance. Even I, a non skater can see he sometimes lands his jumps by more arse than class, but I couldn’t care less because he’s trying to entertain me not win a medal. His D’Artagnan routine was the best I’ve ever seen until the Canadian guy did the Riverdance. They are my two favourites. When I watched them live, I jumped off my couch and yelled out “bravo bravo!” I wonder if either man started in ballet or dance?

i know i’m replying late but do you know any more figure skaters like him both men and women ? i’ve just gotten into figure skating and he’s my favorite so far❤

First time i saw him he seemed almost funny. i didn't know whether he was serious about his program or not. But one thing about him, he really had BALLS. He didn't seem to care if he fell or not. He was just happy to express himself on ice. Had Browning been in the same mindset he would have been champion. But the pressure got to him. Elvis could have taken the gold when Kurt missed his jumps. But the judges favored the classical form of skating. Bummer. Now the frenchman ....he was just the baddest cat on that ice in 1994. He was untouchable.
I totally agree with you!!! I also think along with favoring classical skating the judges favored the Russians. They got away with alot of stuff the other skaters couldn't. I'm sure bribery was involved here being it was Russia. I love skating but this is what made it hard for me to watch and enjoy!!!🤔🤨🧐⛸😡😠🤬😱😭

I prefer a great performance to skate skate jump. Skate skate spin. Now they work so hard on quads that the stuff in between doesn't matter.
