Stayed in that room in December 2023. The fan would start squeezing super loud and obnoxiously at like 3 or 4am if left running while you sleep! Outside of that, no other complaints as the room and view were amazing!

We loved the boardwalk path that goes along the beach and infront of the pools, the beds on the beach and covered hammock areas. We loved the big quiet pool for the days we just wanted some relaxation. Loved the drinks, and *most* of the food. Proximity to airport, 10/10 lol. Cons would be the beach water itself if you go before mid November, always decent seaweed in this area. We love more of a presence of lots of watersports and daily activities. This resort had some, but not to our liking. Our 10/10 resort go-to's are always Secrets Akumal and Xcaret Arte ❤️
