One Minute Story: Manolito Mendoza (Food and Beverage Server)

  • Our One Minute Story series continues with the introduction of Manolito Mendoza, our Food and Beverage Server at Belmont Hotel Boracay.
    Born and raised in La Union, Manolito decided to spend his on-the-job training in Boracay Island more than a year ago. By eagerly working his way up, he was able to prove worthy of himself and eventually started working at Belmont Café right after graduating from his degree in Hospitality.
    We personally had the opportunity to talk with him regarding his current situation, especially being on the frontline, due to the COVID-19. “This pandemic made me realize a lot of things. I realized that life will not always be the way we want. There are so many uncertainties around so we need to humble ourselves, value our capabilities, and exert efforts to find epiphany.”, he shares.
    We know that our journey to recovery will be long and winding but #WEAREONE with Manolito and the rest of the Food and Beverage industry in believing that brighter days are up ahead. 💙
