I suffer from IBS as well, and will not recommend having cabbages (fermented or not). Also, anything spicy (specially any type of chilli powder like gochugaru, gochujang, cayenne pepper, peri-peri powder) is also a big no-no as it can trigger the symptoms as well.
IBS triggers are unique to everyone. I eat kimchi and kombucha as a way to help mine while others this may trigger it. Spicy food doesn’t trigger my IBS but I know it does other. Best thing to do is keep a food journal and figure out what’s the source. I know some people it’s not even food related but has to do with stress/anxiety
I have Ulcerative Colitis and kimchi, anything fermented or spicy triggers my symptoms as well.
Gluten triggers my IBS as someone who is celiac. Like said, the cause can be different for everyone. But its also good disclaimer for those who may not know their food causes and looking to figure it out..
As someone who got an extremely bad case of food poisoning and having my already existing IBS exasperated and going on 3 months now, im gonna try eating kimchi weekly cause not much is helping except high rice and fiber and gluten free of course ..
@@aufache If you have IBS-D, don't. It'll destroy your gut health.
Try supplements like Vitamin-D and Yakult once in every 3 days.
@Skinny Pete exactly. Oats can flare me up and they're considered a safe food.
Fermented foods can do a number on bloating though. Make sure youre not eating too much!
Kimchi (the vinegar in it) is good for bloating. I would choose matcha any day over coffee.
Just in case, kimchi isn't made with vinegar as far as I know- it's a salt fermentation, rather than a vinegar pickle! 🙏💗 but I would bet both forms of brines have good health benefits !!
There’s no vinegar in kimchi
I'm so mad at my digestive system, I literally eat veggies almost everyday, little to no sweets, I drink water yet its not digesting the food properly like what is it doing why is it not doing the things its supposed to do
you most likely need to add some more fiber to your diet
Anxiety?
How’s your emotions
Probably consuming more herbs to help with nutritional absorption - of course do as medically advised. Also more fruit intake. And what is your exercise regimen like? What do you eat for breakfast?
Maybe you’re eating it with other things that do digest harder?
KIMCHIIIII EVERYDAY
Is store broguth okay ??
@@candypietravelsyeah it should be
@ pixel I just made some kimchi. I've been eating it for 2 days so far. Two questions:
My kimchi tastes fermented but isn't bubbling as much. I left it out at room temp for 2 nights. Is it ok? Did I do something wrong? Any suggestions 😢😢
How long after eating kimchi everyday will I see results with gut health and skin issues.?
@@candypietravels just make sure no added sugar and its naturally fermented
Kimchi every day! I swear it’s helped my skin 😩 🙌🏼

Yet to try kimchi but I have loved matcha and butterfly pea iced tea. Anyone in Texas, I buy my teas and herbs from Serenity Herbal
I would advise matcha occassionaly to those sensitive to caffeine. Also, use a realy good one and make it in a small, 3 sips cup. Without milk, sugar, pure with water. Check how to properly prepare it. Seriously, that's next level of peace and concentration
Hey, I would love to know how you've come over IBS as I'm suffering from the same!!
Keep a food diary. Write down how you feel and sleep each day and slowly work out what is affecting you. Start with removing gluten first for a month and see how you feel. Most people notice no burping, no itchy skin, no bloating, no change of bowels and brain clarity plus energy. Everyone eats differently so take your time to work it out and investigate. Don’t forget to get colonoscopy
@@meditationforgrowth hey, i have a severly damaged gut/stomach from years of eating unhealty foods a d no healty goods at all. if i eat something the food doesnt really feel like it is being digested and when it comes out, it always comes out in diarhea form, never the healty poop form. also i have incredibly cold hands and im very skinny. i cant gain any weight. Any help on this on what to eat/do?
I have Crohn’s disease as well!

What about chitin?
Dude that is a big ass amount of kimchi. I only see smaller jars in the store. Is that home made? Where can I buy a huge jar?
What dish did you make?~when you mentioned cooked vegetables.
that's called bibimbap!
@@wherestheleakmaam1510 Thanks so much
Bro I love cooked vegetables there so good
and they wonder why us asians look healthier and overall better
Bruce Lee was peak asian, Noone can replicate
@@ShadowCatDestroyer where is he now
Who? Girl y’all are not the standard get that through your racist skull
Neither do you look healthier and definitely you do not look better!!!! You must be kidding!!!! 😂😂😂 WHY do you think Asian women all want European men? And why do you think that most European men prefer European women still? And WHY do so many Asian women get surgeries to make their eyes look bigger etc?? Anyway. SOME Asian people are REALLY good looking and also very healthy looking. Like in EVERY other ethnic group of the world, SOME are outstandingly beautiful but most of them are not, just like everywhere!
If you eat to much kimchi and have diarrhea it will make it worse only a small I mean a spoonful only 1-3 a week
Does matcha really help? I was told it can also make your teeth yellow. 🤔
yes definitely!! Love matcha
So can other teas and coffee tho
Coffee and soda make your teeth yellow, I’m not 100% sure about matcha though. I drink it all the time and my teeth haven’t turned yellow 🤷🏽♀️
Swish with water after, and Drink water after too :)
Use a straw like she does in the video
Caffeines bad for your stomach as sad as it is
I cured my Thyroid issues and chronic (halitosis)Bad breath smell from stomach when talking with alternative herbs & gluten free diet protocol when I came across drohanon.😊😊
All about that kimchi
What brand of matcha do you recommend?
In my amazon storefront under wellness food!
Thank you so much!:)
Everything in moderation

Dr sebi
I need to learn how to make kimchi
😂😂😂😂😂😂
I can’t stand Kimchi 🤢
Korean food basically
Foods with high levels of probiotics tend to be VERY high in histamines which is a chemical compound that can increase pain .
Caffeine also inhibits release of adenosine. Adenosine helps you relax and sleep
Well, it’s working. What a cutie.
Im pretty sure cooking vegetables removes all the nutrients and vitamins they had
No it doesn't remove ALL the nutrients given the right Cooking methods. Cooking helps break down the cellulose cell walls of veggies, making them more digestible hence more available for your body to digest and absorb nutrients. Learn some food science and dietetic science before putting in a sweeping statement.
