I suffer from IBS as well, and will not recommend having cabbages (fermented or not). Also, anything spicy (specially any type of chilli powder like gochugaru, gochujang, cayenne pepper, peri-peri powder) is also a big no-no as it can trigger the symptoms as well.

IBS triggers are unique to everyone. I eat kimchi and kombucha as a way to help mine while others this may trigger it. Spicy food doesn’t trigger my IBS but I know it does other. Best thing to do is keep a food journal and figure out what’s the source. I know some people it’s not even food related but has to do with stress/anxiety

I have Ulcerative Colitis and kimchi, anything fermented or spicy triggers my symptoms as well.

Gluten triggers my IBS as someone who is celiac. Like said, the cause can be different for everyone. But its also good disclaimer for those who may not know their food causes and looking to figure it out..
As someone who got an extremely bad case of food poisoning and having my already existing IBS exasperated and going on 3 months now, im gonna try eating kimchi weekly cause not much is helping except high rice and fiber and gluten free of course ..

Kimchi (the vinegar in it) is good for bloating. I would choose matcha any day over coffee.

Just in case, kimchi isn't made with vinegar as far as I know- it's a salt fermentation, rather than a vinegar pickle! 🙏💗 but I would bet both forms of brines have good health benefits !!

@ pixel I just made some kimchi. I've been eating it for 2 days so far. Two questions:
My kimchi tastes fermented but isn't bubbling as much. I left it out at room temp for 2 nights. Is it ok? Did I do something wrong? Any suggestions 😢😢
How long after eating kimchi everyday will I see results with gut health and skin issues.?

I would advise matcha occassionaly to those sensitive to caffeine. Also, use a realy good one and make it in a small, 3 sips cup. Without milk, sugar, pure with water. Check how to properly prepare it. Seriously, that's next level of peace and concentration

Keep a food diary. Write down how you feel and sleep each day and slowly work out what is affecting you. Start with removing gluten first for a month and see how you feel. Most people notice no burping, no itchy skin, no bloating, no change of bowels and brain clarity plus energy. Everyone eats differently so take your time to work it out and investigate. Don’t forget to get colonoscopy

And why do you think that most European men prefer European women still? And WHY do so many Asian women get surgeries to make their eyes look bigger etc?? Anyway. SOME Asian people are REALLY good looking and also very healthy looking. Like in EVERY other ethnic group of the world, SOME are outstandingly beautiful but most of them are not, just like everywhere!

No it doesn't remove ALL the nutrients given the right Cooking methods. Cooking helps break down the cellulose cell walls of veggies, making them more digestible hence more available for your body to digest and absorb nutrients.
