Thank You! I never received this spreadsheet via email so I decided to review this video again and build one following your example. Works awesome so far - Thank You!!! Also built the putt break calculator following your video and it works very well. I had to adjust a few things (not much) to fit my set up but both of these have been very helpful. The layout of both of these tools are very good as well. Minimizes space allowing me to place the rough calculator, sand bunker calculator, horizontal wind calculator, etc.. all on the same sheet - Very Nice! It is kind of you to share this info. Happy golfing :)))
Well explained, I have the spreadsheet and I found the putting to be very accurate, Only trouble is its taken me through the ranks too quick lol. Thanks for all the hard work
Great video and it works great as well. Have you ever thought of adding a wind aiming point calculation to the spread sheet? Like how many boxes over to place the aimer? Thanks again.
There is a much easier way to do this. The deviation for a 200 yard shot is one yard per mile an hour of wind. If you have a 150 yd shot its 3/4 of the wind speed calculation and for a 100 yd shot it is 1/2 that deviation etc. Elevation calculation: is simply one yard distance for one yard of height ( height is given in feet, so just divide by 3 to get the difference in distance ( either greater or less) When you are playing head to head you don't have time to consult a sheet. This is a rough guide but I got into the final round of a showdown using it.
@@rebboandlionwgt9538 thanks very much guys. Do you have any more tips on assigning the right % to the wind? I’m assuming that if it’s going right across you, that’s 90 degrees? Thanks.
Lion I have the spreed sheet but can’t understand when the with is HORIZONTAL how to put it on the sheet... that would be my question! my best to you and Rebbo from KingArthur! Rebbo you’re great buddy and personally miss you as a friend!
Greetings! Big fan of the putting spreadsheet which came out a few years ago (?). Going back now to try the wind shot calculator. Is there a download link? Can message here or via WGT Rick I wast. Thanks!
Young46 has a good video on calculating horizontal wind for your aim adjustment. WalkofLife has a very good video on calculating vertical winds (both tail winds and head winds). Young 46 has one as well for vertical wind however for once I prefer Walkof Life's set up. You can build calulators for both by viewing the videos. Both are on UA-cam. This spreadsheet here does pretty good for the vertical winds but not so much for the horizontal winds/aiming.
Awesome tutorial....I have the spreadsheet and you just explained all my questions. The only problem I'm having is I can't change the club yardage. It is telling me I need a password. Can you recommend a solution?
One more question vertical %. How do you figure that? You said straight up and down is 100%. Straight across is 0%. Let's say the wind is blowing in between 2 and 3 on a clock. Would that be around 15%? Thanks again.
No if you like a clock image. Noon is 100% tail. 6pm is 100% head. 3 and 9pm are 0%. They are the 4 bases to start... so if the arrow is pointing to 1.30pm (exactly between noon and 3pm) then that would be 50% tail. As would 10.30pm. Therefore 4.30pm and 7.30pm are 50% head winds. Then just adjust and visualize from there

Excellent thank you, nice to see it demo’ed. Could you consider a similar short one and how you deal with more extremes of elevation please?
How do you determine how many blocks you move over for approach shot
s?
Superb explanation. Really liked how you explained everything in great detail. Please advise from where the excel spreadsheet can be downloaded?
How do you work out how far to move the aimer?

Hi. Great video. What's the wind formula in D5 please?
=(B3-B4/3)/100*B5*B6*0.58

Hi buddy! horizontal wind is 0%, just enter that... if its horizontal with a little tail put in 10%, same for a little head wind. Reb

could i possibly get a spreadsheet?

Where can I find this excel sheet.
