dharwad peda recipe | dharwad pedha | how to make dharwad pede with detailed photo and video recipe. a unique way of preparing the peda recipe or sweet recipe from northern karnataka city i.e dharwad. basically, it is prepared with paneer and milk with a unique dark brown colour as compared to the creamy white colour to the traditional mawa or khoya peda. moreover, dharwad peda recipe is rolled on sugar crystal before serving making it very unique.

I made these today, toughest thing I have done. I wish I had paid attention to the "after 45 mins" 😂.
I did not follow the recipe as I had paneer made from leftover milk sitting in my freezer, so I used my own measurements. Tip- keep adding water to keep it from burning in the last stage, unless you don't mind upping the fat content by adding more milk. I also had to add water so I could roll them, they crumble a lot. I also let it cool down fully before rolling them. They came out pretty good. If I do attempt them next time, I will be combining the dharwad and mathura peda recipes.
