I was born in 82’ in England, my older brother had me watching all the great car shows and my mother got me watching everything else from the 80’s till this day and I’ll continue to watch them till I die.
I have trouble getting my kids to appreciate it, and for that matter now I’m an adult I see things in these shows I didn’t see at the time, like the plastic totally fake KITT they often used for jumps………. In a few episodes it almost folds in half where the bonnet or hood meets the cabin of the car! But it’s still as captivating as ever, and this has all the same qualities.
Shame it wasn’t taken up for a longer run.
Glen A Larson provided most of my childhood memories…….. wha a legend.

Listen carefully for a few seconds at 41:14. It is K.I.T.T. talking to Michael. It is very faint in the background. The CC is even picking up some words from it. This movie is only similar to Knight Rider in that there is a male loner traveling form place to place helping people, and falling for the women.

The character of David Dalton (L. Charles Taylor) was first introduced in the two-part episode, “Mouth of the Snake” in season 2 of Knight Rider. Dalton was originally an action-oriented government agent. In “Code of Vengeance,” the character is reimagined as a flashback-prone Vietnam veteran who drifts across the country, encountering people in trouble, and helping them to find justice with his unique fighting skills. Although his physical agility, acrobatic skill, and martial arts expertise that Dalton displayed in “Mouth of the Snake” was toned down to a simpler, more violent, fighting style.

I was born in 73 and can remember all the kids talking about knight rider the next day at school. Wasn’t allowed to watch it cuz it was on at 9 pm and I had to goto bed at 9 on school nights. Eventually I think the day and time changed and I was able to watch it. I loved Erin in Silver Spoons. She was so hot! I don’t really remember the mouth of the snake episodes and I don’t remember this but with the pandemic I’ve watched all the good Knight Rider episodes, including mouth of the snake and can still remember what I was doing when some of those episodes were on....I was 9, 10, 11 and 12 years old before I finally went off the air so suddenly.
